Naturally Aged Brand Hardwood Flooring

Hi, I hope someone has information or recommendations! I am remodeling my home and adding on a 700 sq ft addition, so I have been looking at engineered hardwood for the entire house, except the bathrooms. (I do not like the laminate flooring that I have now in the other areas)

I am on a budget and went to a flooring store, and I found an espresso colored engineered maple floor by Naturally Aged Flooring. It has "standard" distressing. I am hoping that this type of floor will not be too dark or soft-I do have one big, lazy golden retriever and one pre-teen.

This flooring is in the 5 to 6 dollar per square foot range. I have never heard of this make before. Seems pretty reasonably priced has an aluminum oxide finish and has a 25 year warranty. Does anyone have anything similar or have any information at all about this brand? Any other recommendations for flooring near this price point? Thank you in advance for your input! I need to start making some decisions.

Sold quite a bit of it for a few years. No problems to speak of. Generally longer lengths compared to other major brands(a plus). Manufactured by same Asian company that offers Garrison and another I can't think of. Ifloor also used to buy from the same manufacturer...same product..names...colors.

Standard may be too smooth of a contoured scraped appearance for dogs unless stained darker.

Thanks for the information. It is a pretty dark wood, but I think I will need to check out the heavier distressing as well. I really appreciate the feedback, as this is going in my entire house, except for the bathrooms!

I have not heard of that brand but we purchased the Bella Cera Ruscello flooring and when the boxes showed up it said the dreaded "Made in China" on them. What could I do at that point? We had it installed and are very happy. There is not one piece in the 1100 sq ft that has a flaw. Now, it has only been a few months, but no problems so far... And we also did about 60 sq ft of LM St Laurent flooring in our vanity area almost 2 years ago, it was "Made in China", which I did not know until later, no problems with it either.

Thank you Olychick and Fori. I appreciate the suggestions. I actually like the look of our oak trim, staircase and banister, and as I said in my original post, while it is from the 80's it's not the typical look that you saw during that time (it has straight, clean lines), and we have way to much of it to consider painting so thank you for making suggestions that might work. There is something to be said for the beauty of wood regardless of the species. While I like the look of white trim as well, it seems that everyone is painting their trim white and I have a feeling that it won't be a trend forever. We did bring home some samples of hickory but the tone of the wood was a bit too pinkish. We are looking at Acacia (matches well but may be too dark for our space), and I was also thinking of bringing home a sample of natural white oak in a wider plank to see how that might look, maybe I can sell my husband on it:)

Hello, I’m posting in hopes to help someone else like me who researches a ton. I agonized over choosing flooring for a year. I didnt want it overly knotty, too yellow too orage, too gray too dark. Was this so hard to ask? I swear I probaby had 30 samples come into my house, . I researched many and found it was hard to find reviews and photos. We finally decided on Tri West California Classics Mediterranean Colection in the color vittoria. I liked tripoli but my husband thought it was too light. I had found some photos of vottoria on instagram and it seemed to be well made. We jusy had it installed todsy and im thrilled with how it looks. Will be posting photos soon.
