gowelch, I wasn't sure this was you until I rechecked on your original post and saw that you wanted me to get back to you. Our vanity hasn't arrived yet and when it does it's going to the builder's warehouse since we're not ready for installation yet so it may be a while before I can give you a first hand review. It seems there is a division of opinion in responses to your original post as to the quality of Restoration Hardware vanities. If you were planning on putting this in a heavy use bathroom for children I would hesitate. The drawers and doors don't have the blumotion glides or hinges so I guess children would have the tendency to bang them around. Or if you store heavy things in your bathroom drawers maybe that would be a problem but my hairdryer is the heaviest item in my bathroom and the Hutton drawers seem perfectly capable of holding something that big and heavy. Other than this type of consideration I wouldn't worry. Just like beauty, quality is in the eye of the beholder and I know it's hard to make a decision without seeing and touching something firsthand. Wish I could help more. I

I have the Cambridge sofa in vintage black. After 3 years it was saggy on one side and had lost quite a bit of leather on the seating area so I contacted them and they replaced it. The new one looks better but they went from a 98" sofa to an 8ft one but when measuring it, it actually measures smaller than 8 ft. I also have noticed that when someone gets off it, the other person can feel it, almost like it's not level or build strong enough, it goes up and down. Hard to explain but we're small people. I actually preferred the saggy, missing leather to the new version. If you can find anywhere else to get what you want in a sofa, do it. Restoration Hardware may look pretty but it's not well made unfortunately.

Have you actually seen or felt any of the hardware you're considering or just taking your GC's word on it? I had my heart set on the Aubrey pulls so drove 65 miles to a store to put my own hands and eyes on them before I shelled out my hard earned cash, which, btw, I recommend doing with ANY hardware you're considering. I was impressed by the quality of the pulls and knobs RH displays on the little boards. (I was disappointed to not be able to rummage around on the huge wall of hardware like they had years ago.) I bought small samples of the Aubrey in polished nickel and polished chrome, a couple of other pulls DH liked, and a couple of different knobs. They all felt solid, heavy, and very well made. I went on to order samples of a few other pulls from different companies when DH didn't initially like my choice of the Aubrey. Compared to the other pulls, the Aubrey felt completely smooth on the handle part and heavier. Some of the other pulls were rougher and you could feel a seam on the handle from the mold or whatever they use to form them. Even though DH didn't like the style of the pull at first, he liked the quality very much. In the end, I chose three sizes of the Aubrey pulls (no knobs) in polished nickel. Of the 100 pulls I ordered (bought many more than I needed as I wanted the flexibility of changing my mind on sizes and then returned the rest), only one any had sort of little flaw in the nickel. Having read that some people in the past had trouble with the Aubrey screws, I sent a pull with the screws to my cab maker ahead of installation so he could decide if I needed to buy different screws. He said the ones I was sent would work fine on my cabs. He had never used RH hardware before, but was impressed with the quality and appearance after he installed them. It's only been a few months, but I'm having zero problems with the pulls. Well, except maybe my obsessive need to walk around wiping the small finger prints off so that they shine. :-) Look at any pull you're interested in IRL. Touch them. Hold them. Babs711, HOW did you do that!!?? I have been to at least 20 stores that carry Broyhill. I have typed every thing I can think of relating to those sofa's in a google search box. NOW...I can't remember IF I've seen either of those in a store. Although, I do "think" we almost ordered a Broyhill from a store. We got downright serious with several $1500 sofas, BUT, when we chose the material, it'd wind up being something like a grade 100 (and the sofa in the store for $1500 would be a grade 2). We'de hear "sure, we can order that $1500 sofa in that material, it'll be $2800. Then, at $2800...we would then NOT be able to live with the depth, or the knifeback cushions. OR, our "hole in the wall" that we need to fill is 101.5". We have inched our way down to 96" being acceptable. And, "whats another inch"? Well, ya just gotta draw the line somewhere...I think?? LOL. I cannot believe that I don't remember seeing that Cora and that Tarleton. Maybe I did and they were just both too deep? Or too high after the material choice? OR, they didn't offer the material we wanted? OR??? BUT, you just stuck two sofas right there that SURE GOT MY ATTENTION, and the Price sure SEEMS spot on for my budget. Go figure...Find something better a day after I put in my order...never fails. BTW: Here is what I Finally pulled the trigger on. 1) 97" English Arm Sofa (fits in a 101" long hole in a wall) 2) 38" deep. (can't handle 42" or deeper because our calves hit the edge and feet don't touch the ground..I just hate that). 40" seemed to be the maximum depth I could deal with. 3) Sides of the sofa, at the bottom, have a "swoop" contour from front to back. (just looks better than a straight line) 4) Three wooden legs up front with casters (I dunno, I just like that look) 5) Three butt cushions, NO down fill (they assure me these will not get bulgy, settle out, or get that broken down, worn out look) 6) TIGHTBACK (hate knifeback pillows because they resemble "throw" pillows or bed pillows. Would have been fine with normal edged cushions, but, IF I could have exactly what I wanted, It'd be "tightback". I like that look and like the way it won't deform or look "used") 7) Army Duck Canvas/Cotton Fabric (very durable, almost indestructable based on experience, and has the linen "look" and "texture" we wanted. Difficult to find as an option for most manufacturers) 8) Charcoal Gray Color (matches and accents the rest of room, and...I won't feel like I have to shower, change clothes, and throw a cover on it if I want to sit down) 9) $1750.00 (For EXACTLY what I want on EVERY count...I can live with that) 10) While I cannot comment on "down the road" customer service? I can say for sure: Every call, I wound up talking to ONE person. This guy is "probably" the person that actually builds this, or at the least is very "hands on" during the process. His answers to my questions were a very friendly and polite...."Yes, we do that" or "Yes, we CAN do that" or "Sure, I have no problem doing that". "No, we've never made a chair and a half to match that sofa exactly, but, I've always wanted to...just never had anybody wanting one....I'll be glad to make you one, no problem."
