Greetings my dear friends!

So far not much going on. High point was a nice hug from the bartender because I took her some homemade soup last night... she has no clue it is my bday. Not closing the bar tonight just a quick beer and a hug before coming home. I thought about taking the day off work but never put the paperwork in. No particular plans for a bday present. My biggest wish at the moment is a decent nights sleep.

Morning! About 5 hours sleep in bed and another hour in my chair.... it will do. What happened to the days I could zonk out for 8-12 hours and wake refreshed?

I still have a half bottle of Glenlivet French Oak Reserve. Looking forward to clinking tonight after work. Thanks Linda for reminding me to fill my ice trays. Cathy you have my number as I pulled a package of rk venison out of the freezer yesterday. Probably cajun venison with over easy eggs chopped into an egg sauce for dinner after work. Looks like a half way decent weekend Annie... rain and snow... perfect Michigan weather!

Thinking I should remortgage my house as a present to myself. Looks like I could take .8 of a percent off my rate. Hmmm... can I do it without rolling a new truck into the deal? Why is there a voice in my head chanting sports car sports car? Maybe enough money to rebuild and repaint my old Formula Firebird.... that might be reasonable...

As my luck goes I'm clinking with cranberry juice and running a mild fever. Went to bed without dinner but still have that venison on my mind. Maybe for breakfast after I go back to bed for a couple hours... if sleep will come.
