Not sure if you mean "ex sister in law" or "ex son in law", but it's nice that cousins got to meet. I have a lot of 1st cousins once removed that I've never met, but not because of divorce, since I've never been married. Looks like a nice gift, and it's one that I would have liked also. I don't have one, and so I can't give you recipes, but I'm sure you'll be able to collect plenty here! Glad you had a good day. So far I'm optimistic about this year, even though it ends in "13". Thank-you! I went out to a benefit dinner yesterday. A fellow employee had passed away and the money raised was given to a charity. It got me out of the house and into a party with lots of friends. New program at work I'm not allowed to work every weekend... I didn't even complain about that new rule. That means I have the whole weekend off! Jessy... like I told my new supervisor... "I am behaving... just behaving badly". FOAS... I think I burned out a brake pad missing a rooster pheasent... he made it and it was time for new brakes anyway. dedtired... I think I age the same rate but it hurts twice as much. Annie it has been exciting times at the bar. New bartender to be named Ella appeared on ultrasound pictures this week. A fine looking young lady! Grandma owns the bar so I hope to be around in 18 years when she sets that first beer up. Tonight beers with Jessica at a run down whistlestop hotel bar in the middle of nowhere... huge creepy ancient place... pictures on the wall show horses and buggies out front when the place was newer. Spring is here! Only 18 degrees out but the sun was warm enough to sit outside with my sleeves rolled up awhile. So begins another year.... : ) lyra

Thanks you all. After wishes are just as appreciated. Smiles. It was a good day and it's been a good weekend so far. We still have tomorrow. The canning has gone pretty good, but it sure is hard with two old ladies with bad backs one of which uses a cane, to haul all that hot water and such and schlep the stuff around the kitchen, clean all the jars from basement,. etc.. etc.. lol. Did a few dills and some tomatoes. Meanwhile dragging the canning stuff from the pantry closet[which is an under the stairs kind of deal so it goes far back but gets shallow] caused me to have to clean and rearrange that. I've just about killed Christy. She may never take another day off. LOL. Omg. Lars.. you made me laugh so hard. I read your post to Christy and she said.. "Jerseylicious..you... NOT..", then she proceeded to kill herself laughing. ..lmao.. omg.. good one. Don't have the accent. My hair is long and I've only had it cut professionally once in my adult life and that was a trim. I cut it myself. No hair products, except shampoo. Some eye liner and mascara sometimes. No animal prints..ever..lol.. I wear long cotton tshirt dresses or long tshirts and shorts/pants. Sorry if this disappoints.. smiles. Btw, around here we call that part of NJ.. New York New Jersey.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes everyone. It was a nice quiet day spent with family. My mom and little brother(even tho he is 50, he is still my little brother ;) )came up from Mass. for the day. We drove down to the beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. Hung out at home and got caught up on the rest of the family. My daughter Ariel made dinner-lasagna roll ups, garden salad, and garlic bread. Wayne made my birthday cake-lemon cake with coconut frosting and double chocolate ice cream. They just left for the drive back to Mass. It was a great day! NancyLouise
