Do you drive an SUV? Question

Oakley

DH doesn't know the answer either but maybe one of you do.

I drive a Dodge Durango. It has separate controls for the front and back seats for AC and Heat. Both controls are on the front panel.

I never turn the backseat air on unless someone is riding with us which isn't often.

The a/c in my car wasn't getting cold. It's semi-cool, but not enough to make me stop sweating. I planned to take it in to get freon.

Yesterday I went to pick up the granddogs so I turned the ac on for them. Suddenly the front (and back) a/c got cold! NOT to be confused with the whole car cooling off because both a/c's were on, but the air coming out of the vent was cold. WTH?

I'm leaving it on! lol. Does anyone know why this happened?
