Does anyone have the Devin Ottoman from Crate and Barrel? Or do you know who makes it or if it is well-made? Any pictures of it in real life would be great! I'm interested in the rectangular ottoman in Pecan leather and plan to use it as a coffee table. Here is a pic: Thanks!

@Anne Smith they are both comfortable to me (i had heard ery good things from axis owners) - for the 88" length the Metro deep is a little deeper - 43" vs 41"i think on axis overall and the "interior" depth from back cushioin to front edge of seat cushion is like 28/29" whereas i think it's more like 25 on axis. Metro seat cushions feel a little more "cushiony"/"springy" (but not soft) than axis which felt "firmer" - i think becausethe seat cushions on Metro (deep version only) are spring down (so coils in them) vs pure foam wrapped with down i . Also i think the back frame on Axis is taller and i think feels like it sits a bit more "upright" (the back of Metro feels more like C&B lounge sofa than Axis). Although the douglas fabric on Axis is very durable, the look was a little too "suedey" for me, and i couldn't use the ice or white color - I needed more of an ivory (so i would have gotten Icon pearl) . The ivory sumner fabric on the Metro is really nice (100% polypropylene)

I have been happy to see Crate & Barrel bringing back the bumper sectionals. I was seriously considering the Axis bumper sectional, but ended up going with a different brand without a bumper (due to my specific use). Keep in mind that the C&B Lounge is really really deep. 29"! I have a 27" deep Room & Board sectional (with a bumper) and while I do love it, at 5'6" my feet definitely do not touch the ground sitting normally on it. I'm pretty sure 21"-23" seat depth is more "normal". I ordered something with a 24" depth for just a little extra depth for my 6'3" husband's long legs. The outside depth of the Arhaus Kipton is 2" less than the Lounge or you can order it an even shallower size. Just something to keep in mind when you're choosing.

Sunshyne, I have often noticed the same EXACT thing — furniture that is for “trade only” looks EXACTLY like pieces sold in big box stores and it’s hard for me to believe it isn’t :). And I can get a custom couch fairly easily — Sherrill for example or Cisco Home… :) the price I would pay to hire a designer for my home would be much more than their trade discount. I mean one can easily pay a designer 30k during home Reno’s and most aren’t going to want to do small potato projects. Someday when My kids are grown I would really like John Derian for Cisco brothers tulip chairs and can just call them to use my own fabric:) I’ve owned 2 CB couches (currently the slipcovered willow which I don’t think they make anymore ). I like that CB2 couches (at least they used to be) are made in NC, 8 way hand tied. The fabric holds up. I have a PB rocker and the fabric has pilled. The only reason I got rid of my last CB sofa (fabric and cushion were perfect after 7 years) was because my kids drew all over them with markers and let them drip all over the cushions. There are few brands I can think of where they are truly trade only at least according to their website (Minton-Spidell comes to mind) but it’s hard for me to believe that if you didn’t call one of these furniture stores as a customer (at the end of the day, doesn’t money always talk and spend the same:)) that you couldn’t get what you wanted.
