I have a favor to ask. I need the measurements converted for the Strawberry Mille-Feuille recipe. I'm already looking forward to May, when fresh strawberries come in. I've never used puff pastry and actually have little baking experience but that looked so good I'm willing to try.

The ingredients are as follows.
1 sheet ready rolled butter puff pastry
Icing sugar, for sprinkling
300mls cream
3 T.'Grand Marnier' or 'Contreau'
3 T. caster sugar
300mls mascarpone
1 punnet of strawberries, hulled and quartered
1 T. butter
1/2 C flaked almonds, toasted.

I'm assuming the butter puff pastry is available here and that the flaked almonds are sliced almonds. I may be assuming too much.

Jude, 300 Mls of cream is about 10 ounces. The same for the Mascarpone. Flaked Almonds would be sliced almonds and a punnet is probably a pint of strawberries.

Dixie, no you can't just post someone else's photo. In fact you can only submit a photo for consideration if it is posted on your own blog. And they don't accept every photo.

Bobby, you can find some great recipes by following the photo to the owners blog. Not everyone posts recipes but many do. And it is nice to see what the finish product looks like.

Colleen, Foodgawker is really more about taking a good foodie picture than recipes, though some really good recipes can be found by clicking on some of the photos. I've found some good ones that way. Granted, someone's idea of "foodie" differs from others... hence, the fruit looper! LOL

Ugh I only saw the first page of photos and they pale in comparison to anything Ann has posted. They are the ones who should be thankful to have pics not only of gorgeous food, but clear photos to boot. Most of those pictures are poorly executed.
