'Catering' business questions

You may recall that I sometimes "cater" an event in people's homes. This avoids the legal requirement of having a commercial kitchen for food preparation. So far, it's been a very small venture.

It seems as if a door is opening for my little cooking "business" and I'm going to step through it! Exciting times!

I do use a contract when I cook for people, but now find that I need to know more, such as...

What specific things should be covered in the contract? (just in case I'm missing anything!)

What kind of insurance do I need and where do I get it?

What other things should I know?

Thanks for any help and input!!!

Smiles,

Sooz
