Scratched Aluminum Oxide Finish on Engineered Hardwood

We installed engineered hardwood with an AO finish throughout most of our first floor this year. We like the look of it, but didn't realize it scratches so easily! We have three dogs and have tried to clip their nails short, but they've still managed to leave scratches *everywhere* in the finish. I don't think the wood itself is scratched, but the top coating looks really bad at this point. Scratches everywhere, in every room.

Is there anything simple we can do to fill the scratches without having to refinish the floors? We aren't ready to refinish. If there isn't any way to smooth out these surface scratches, is there any chance that they'll eventually blend in? Surface scratches on poly seem to sort of smooth out and blend in eventually, once the finish isn't so shiny; could this also happen with an AO finish?

Thanks,

Mariah Sweet
