Sedum (I don't think it's 'Autumn Joy' but it's similar. Possibly 'Autumn Fire', from the pics I've found online) Sedum 'Dragon's Blood' Sedum 'Tricolor' Dianthus 'Frosty Fire' which is a hot-ish pink, not the red on the tag (not that I care, but I know that some do...!) California Poppy (I think...I planted these as seeds last year and have new plants in the same place..) Creeping Thyme possibly 'Pink Chintz' Rudbeckia Salvia shrub (small pink flowers, no idea which variety) catnip Nepeta 'Walker's Low' Violets Iris - deep dark purple and a whole bunch of surprises. We used GAF Camelot Aged Oak for our roofing shingles. The stone is new england field stone from stoneyard.com...the stone is real stone that is sawed thin so it installs like thin stone. Much of the stone walls and terracing came from stone dug out of the foundation when we built the house....it blended in very nicely with the purchased stone which was applied to the foundation wall. NewDawn, I hadn't thought of that in years! But I do remember now that the trading ships were bringing back many beautiful pieces from China at that time. William Morris produced some beautiful Asian-influenced wallpaper around that then, too. As I recall from my design studies (way back when), it was very popular. Joann, thanks! I don't have a lot, and I'm not sure how much time I'll have to dig stuff up this week, but if folks express interest in something there will be a greater likelihood that I'll bring it! Plants: Hemerocallis fulva: Tawny daylily - just your common ditch variety. I could bring a garbage bag full of them. Allium cepa proliferum: Egyptian onion. I think they're the Catawissa variety, as the topsets have topsets. Fragaria x ananassa 'Tristar': Everbearing strawberries Seeds: Abelmoschus esculentus 'Clemson Spineless': Okra. Coriandrum sativum: Coriander/cilantro Datura stramonium: Jimson weed. Volunteer. I think it came from some horse manure. Big 4'x4' annual with many single lavender-tinged white trumpet flowers ~4" long followed by spiny pods. Very poisonous, and either very interesting or very ugly depending on your perspective! Echinacea purpurea: Purple coneflower. perennial unknown variety. I got the plants from a friend a few years ago. Seed should have some viability as I've had volunteer seedlings. I don't know if I'll get to separate much of the seed, but I can at least bring some seed heads, and leave enough behind for the birds. Lunaria annua: Money plant. Volunteer. 2' tall annual w/ pink flowers in spring followed by decorative flat pods with a shiny inner membrane. I may be able to bring some other seeds, including sage, lemon balm, horehound, chervil, and dill. I also have some volunteer seedlings of black cherry, Virginia creeper, black mulberry, and honey locust I could dig up if anyone is interested.
