Here are 4 of the colors we have talked about in above comments..marscapone can give off the slightest tint of green...Dove Wing is a beautiful neutral white you can’t go wrong using it any space....Pale Oak is one of my favs it is still light but gives a soft warm glow..allows trim to contrast.

Painting oak is difficult to do properly. It involves doing your homework, using a grain filler and an oil based primer. that said, you have little enough of it that it might be worth the effort. Read, read, read, and make sure you understand that the coatings you are going to buy will be expensive. For color I would choose an off-white or a gray, like the colors in your floor tile. I know you said paint only, but you have to go to a big box store and look at their laminates. You can cover your existing green laminate with a new white or gray for a few hundred dollars. The expensive part of your counter is the substrate the laminate is glued to. Re-laminating is inexpensive and could make a huge difference to the look of your space.

You know I was thinking today once it’s finished I’m going to have to post a photo and I thought nobody is going to even look at my post it’s been so long! So I was going to go with dove wing on all walls and white dove for cabinets, trim, and doors. However! After seeing a photo online the day I ordered the paint, I decided on white dove for everything (matte on walls and eggshell for ceiling and trim). My plasterer should be finishing up this weekend and then I’ll be starting paint. My kitchen cabinets are scheduled to be installed next Friday (hoping I won’t have to delay). I’ll post a picture once I have the paint on and another with the cabinetry.

it looks like you have some decent lighting. the bulbs appear to be a brighter, cooler white. you could get some LED light strips or under cabinet lighting. I leave mine on 24/7 do you like those ceiling fixtures? you could bring in something like this for extra lighting. (and I think I showed you something diff for over the sink?)
