it seems to be related to having OE6 and IE7 and with xp sp2. this is a work around. Right-click the embedded image as you normally would, but instead of choosing Save as..., choose Copy. Then open MS Paint, go to the Edit menu and select Paste. That should paste the image into Paint, and then you can save it. (You could probably use any photo program) Best fix quit using IE and move to firefox problem solved. I found this on another forum from someone who had contacted MS about the problem Quote: I went to a different Microsoft site and, using the Contact Us feature, wrote and reported the problem. I assured them it was a Windows issue, that the problem occurred sometime after I'd done an update, and that I wasn't going to pay for them to correct a problem they created. In Add/Remove Programs list, select Windows Internet Explorer 7 and remove it 4. Restart the computer. After that, please verify if the issue is resolved. Try deleting IE's cache from Tools, Internet Options, click the Delete Files button under Temporary Internet Files. Go back to the site where you were saving the 'pics' from and try right clicking them and choose 'Save Image As' These were pictures on websites? not in email? this problem is normally in email pictures and it is a pretty old bug, have you done all your IE updates? As Randy said don't bother trying to find the file because it does not exist, MS knows this and has some articles about it but no fix listed that I have found other than uninstalling IE7.

THank you all so much for writing...it's been a roller-coaster of a day...I called the dentist back and said that it was worse than ever, not subsiding, just growing -- he folded and referred me to an endodontist, but I couldn't call them until after 5, so I won't know if I can be seen until tomorrow morning. By around 5:30 as I was driving DD to orchestra, it finally HIT so bad I was ready to go to an ER. I was sweating, panting from the pain, and felt faint...oh my gosh it was bad and just getting worse...luckily DH met me at the orchestra place and he drove me at first to a dental ER, but I REFUSED to let them see me because it seemed so shady (weirdly, I got definite vibes not to let them near me, and the weirdness was confirmed by the completely inappropriate behavior of the people behind the desk and the questions on the registration sheet -- how many medical offices make you write the name of your "Financial Institution" and warn you about the fee if you don't call within 24 hours of your next appointment before even handing you the *long* registration form??! but I digress)...by then I had given in and taken an extra half tramadol, just because I was going completely insane with the pain. I would categorize it as the second worst pain I've ever felt--first being childbirth. But I think the tramadol what did the trick because in about 45 minutes I was living again, doing errands with DH while we waited for DD. I can feel it's coming back again now, but I know now how to control it until tomorrow morning. jbrig, thank you for the clarification -- you're right, I was being too broad-brush and ended up just being wrong -- I think I was thinking of the prostaglandin-inhibiting and the anti-inflammatory effects of ibuprofen (or at least that's what I had been told). Thanks for correcting me. Funny that you should mention the tramadol/flexeril, because those are what I take -- the tramadol in the daytime for fibro and the flexeril at night (low dose, as a muscle relaxer as you mention). camlan, WOW...that's scary...how did they end up finding it? Do you have complete resolution now and you're pain-free? And Pat, I'm sorry to hear you've had that situation for years...I can only imagine what it must be like for that long. Could TN2 include the feeling that teeth are about to explode? INTENSE ache? I'll bring it up with the endodontist tomorrow. I can feel a tooth throbbing now, starting the wind-up. I really appreciate your all's understanding, help and good wishes so much. I'll post back about the endodontist. THANK YOU!

In my 50's, I guess. (I'm 61.) I have a bad knee and it really slows me down, but still, I think I am probably healthier than most people I know who are my age. I don't have high blood pressure or high cholesterol or any reason to take medication, except an occasional pain pill when I know I am going to be on my feet all day...due to my knee. I still get up and put in a full day around here, and keep on keeping on. I certainly look older, and my answer to that is to not look at myself any more than I have to, and keep doing as much as I can. I may be slowing down, but I'm not going to give up.

Allison, the emergency bag in the car contained one complete outfit for each person, one week of medications for each person (not many at that time) extra inhaler for asthmatic son), large ziplock of dog food, leashes and a couple of carabiner clips and a collapsible bowl, four gallon jugs of water, water bottles, a good first aid kit, flares, a large jar of peanut butter, a box of saltine crackers, power bars, a box of plastic spoons, a roll of paper towels. freeze dried fruit, wipes, a roll of toilet paper, bleach tablets, waterproof ponchos (the kind folded up into little zippered pouches). small flashlights for each person, a lantern, playing cards. All that was in a large plastic locker that latched and could be locked. We kept several blankets and pillows in the car year round bc of the amount of carpooling we did. For the extra packing, each child could take a backpack of books, toys, mementos and they had already chosen what to take in advance. Hand held games and extra batteries. i packed a second outfit for us all including another pair of shoes. i had a file box woth a handle that had all our passports, insurance info, wills, safety deposit box keys, etc that i could pick up and put in the car. Most of that stuff is digitized now, which is so much easier! I also had laminated cards for each of us with name, DOB, home address, cell phone numbers for me and husband, any allergies, and health insurance info. The kids and i kept those in our pockets in case we were in an accident and/or were separated. I did the same thing when we traveled, including the name of the hotel in each city and a written guarantee of cab fare for delivery of a lost child.
