Happy Birthday, Nancy! I'm glad I didn't miss it, Elery and I are here on South Padre Island, I'm just soaking up some sun for you. Yeah, that's it. Of course Kim has plans, LOL, I'm sure of it. Have a wonderful time on vacation. Elery says we need to come andsee you two soon, he enjoyed meeting you both and says that with he and Kim having been in so many of the same places, it's almost like she's an old college buddy. Thank you for all the birthday greetings. I'm home today and Kim managed to stay home also. Nice to have the company. We are not doing anything special tonight, instead we will have my B-Day dinner this next weekend. I'll make the birthday last all week that way. When I got the mail today, four new hidden object games arrived...the company did not charge me for the games because they had fouled up the order...so I guess I can call them an extra birthday gift. My real birthday is March 6th. I have tried numerous times to change the date to no avail. It comes up as March 6th on my member page, just not on the birthday listing. Don't know what else to do. Thanks again for all the birthday wishes. I had a really nice day. My birthday dinner was a joint effort, Kim made great salads (I made the dressing), then we had lobster, scallops and shrimp in a wine sauce over angel hair pasta. Instead of a cake, I made cream filled chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing and even put white loops on top. I am thankful for all the good in my life. Nancy

Hi! I appreciate all the good wishes. My birthday dinner will not be until Saturday, at least that's the plan as of right now. Kim has an Uncle in Ohio that has cancer and is just barely hanging on, we may have to make a quick trip. It's hard to make plans.

I baked today for the farmers market tomorrow, in fact I still have a couple things to finish. I'm having fun though, I love being in the kitchen.

Kim's been asking me what I want for a present and I just don't have ideas for her. Funny thing is, I ordered something for her B-Day, which was Jan 11 and it just came today. I ordered it in early Dec. So she can open her late gift tonight and I'll be opening something at a later date for me. I want 'summer' things!

Happy Birthday Nancy! I'm also sorry to read about Kim's uncle and am glad you two have some flexibility and can go if you need to.

That is a huge delay in getting what you ordered for Kim..I hope they gave you updates during the two and a half month wait.

I'll be looking forward to hearing about your birthday dinner and to hearing more about the winter farmer's market. What did you bake today?

Oh, dear, Nancy, I'm sorry to hear about Kim's uncle. The waiting is hardest, I think, we did that with Elery's Dad in December. (sigh)

I was not happy when Elery's birthday present was two days late, I'd be livid if it was 2 and a half MONTHS!

I'll also look forward to hearing how the winter farmer's market is going.

Give Kim a hug from Elery and I.
