I'm sorry. I don't think I "picked you to shreds". I'm sorry if my response was a little abrupt but I didn't have much time at that moment. I just asked a question and gave my opinion. And while you said you didn't want to be rude I do think your tone is rather rude. Personally, I'm pretty much a vegetarian and have been vegan in the past. It is difficult to maintain and in my experience is not a sustainable diet (in the sense of diet being daily intake of food, not diet to lose weight). I've not gone vegan to lose weight, so I don't know, although the lack of fats would probably be effective in that way. Since you said that eating junk and sugar is what made you put on weight in the past, I said that getting rid of the sugar would be my suggestion rather than the eggs and dairy. I am of the opinion that eggs and dairy are good for a person (barring allergy issues) and should be incorporated in a healthy diet. When I started to diet I cut out a majority of meat, eggs, cheese, etc. but I have not gone vegan in many years. Most of the people I know who have been, or are, vegans are not the healthiest bunch and I don't think it is a good idea long term, as I have said. As for becoming vegan to lose weight I think it is more sustainable to reduce those foods rather than omit them. But that's just my opinion. I'd like to discuss veganism, but do not want to go vegan. Am I still welcome here, or are you only interested in speaking with those who wish to go vegan?

silversword~ Thanks for posting this. It's a good and interesting read. I think people sometimes know that these foods are LOADED with calories, carbs, and fat, but "See No Evil" takes over when taste buds, cravings, and will power are involved. Having the CALORIES put IN YOUR FACE -- labeled on each portion, puts the rubber to the road and makes one decide whether the worth the "price." And, for me, it's the accountability of ordering something like that when you're with a friend!!!! lol.

I use one every day , chest type and love it the key is keeping them clean washing them after each use. Sweat and dead skin builts up on them so keeping them clean is a must. Im to the point if I dont wear mine I feel naked. I love knowing my heart rate and carloies burned for each workout . My goal is to be in the burn zone for 60 min a day so the HRM is a must . Also must mention you do have to keep it tight on your chest but I have no issue with it messing up and have been wearing it for the last 18 months . Good luck

Most of these reviews/responses are from people that only read and hear what they want to hear about the "HCG" diet, and probably anything else they don't understand! I think they missed the part about the maintenance program "resetting" your metabolism, and of course encouraging healthy eating and exercise. I think the reason why Dr. Oz stayed neutral is because it works! I will not tell you it is right for everyone, but I will tell you it works 100% of the time, for 100% of the people that do the program correct, how do I know...I have personally lost 110 pounds in 135 days, have contributed to a book on HCG, and have helped well over 100 people. I am not selling you anything, or even giving out my name, simply want people to understand that this works, but only if you are willing to give it a chance to owrk; otherwise find a program that works for you, either way quit posting ignorant posts and possibly disuading people from this or any other program that may help them, especially when you do not understand it! I wish everyone success, whether you choose the HCG program or not on a happy healthy life, and lifestyle!!...TJM
