I have about 55" Phillips smart tv. Model 55PFL3907/F7 SN: VM1A1213110389. I had a power outage and the tv and direct tv modem were working when the power went out. Not so much when it came back on. The TV has a pink/violet picture stuck on it which has yellow writing. Doesn't seem to be a Phillips logo just some random picture. Plus the Direct tv modem isn't working properly either. The Direct tv company is coming to check it out but I'm looking for some input in case it turns out that the problem is with the tv. Thanks for any help you can give.

An update on my comment from yesterday. It's not whether the door is going up or down that locks the remote out; rather it is time. The remote is locked out from activating the opener for 4.5 minutes after its last activation (up or down) -- exactly the duration of illumination of the lamp. So it appears that the controller is going into the mode where it locks out remotes after every activation, even though I do not have the multifunction door control panel. Rick

I have a Craftsman 139.53637SRT garage door opener. Recently the receiving eye was damaged (pin broke off); I replaced it with one that was new old-stock, and the safety sensor is now working properly. But I now have a new problem. The opener, which had been working well prior to the receiving eye replacement, now exhibits odd behavior. When I engage the opener it will lift the door steadily without jerking or unusual noise, and it will lower the door smoothly and gently. But the 3rd time I engage the opener, it stops and the light flashes 10 times. It does so whether that 3rd activation is on the up or down motion. It does so while the indicator light on the receiving eye is steady green; that is, there is no obstruction, and the safety sensor senses no obstruction. So the opener is behaving as though the sensor has indicated an obstruction even though it has not. If I continue to engage the opener (either from the wall switch or remote) the green light on the back of the opener flashes to indicate it has received the signal and then clicks exactly 4 times; but if I wait 4-5 minutes and try again, it lifts and lowers the door normally. There is nothing on the troubleshooting list in the manual to address this circumstance. Up and down travel is set appropriately (smooth operation, no sag in the chain). Up and down force is set appropriately (mid-range) and the door will reverse upon hitting a 1x4 placed in the opening. It is almost as if the opener needs a rest after being activated 2 or 3 times in close succession. I am baffled.

The problem I have is my door wont open at all. Neither the remote nor the wall button will budge it. The wall unit and the overhead opener seem to be communicating, since the lightbulbs are flashing, and turn on and off when told to. The remotes seem to have no affect at all. I replaced the chain onto the sprocket assemby and was adjusting the up and down on the main unit, Unit does nothing now when I press button on wall, is it possible to have adjusted the up/down too much to make unit not operate?Anyone have any ideas why my door won't work at all? I would expect the motor to at least chug or something, but...nuthin! Just flashing lights when i press the wall buttons. Sears Model 139.53975SRT1. HELP!
