Gloria: Bubbler izzzzzzz. . .bubbling! The cuttings are getting nubs, most have at least one little hair root. A couple are being cranky about rooting, but there are nubs there. What is most amazing - even the ones without roots - they're putting on itsy bitsy leaves. Most have little "sprouts" of leaves on the top, maybe 4-5, some 7. So even without the root system they're able to absorb through the stalk, etc. to sustain and put leaves on. Karyn said not to take those off, so I'm leaving those. But they're even trying to put leaves on BELOW the water line. Those I pinch off and remove. I'm waiting for the Anti-Stress so I can coat them. Trying to find some "B1" - not Miracle Gro transplant helper. That actually has a fertilizer in it and not sure that even a tiny splash of that is good for them. Trying to keep in mind, this isn't to accelerate them, this is to maintain them so they're healthy for next year planting. The goal is NOT to push them - and I have to keep telling myself that.

I used to get a Sumatran coffee that I loved..switched roasters and didn't like theirs as much as I love their Brazil Dark Roast..so it's my "standard"... Here's the link to where I get mine..And I must say I love the coffee club of the month..You can switch it up, delay shipments, move them up..whatever..Everything I've tried I love...The Sumatran is not as good in dark as it is in medium roast. Some of my favorites from them are the Coffee of the Month when they blend roasts or beans. It's roasted the morning it's shipped out via Priority. Colorfast- sorry... I meant to get back to you to ask about your kitchen mess! Anyway- yes, manufactured quartz. Chopped-up quartz bonded together by the polymer resin. Senator13- I looked the Schrock and Showplace cabinets over pretty thoroughly. Checked the load weights, warranties, etc. Brought samples home. They really did appear to be very similar & well-constructed... it was just by intuition that I settled on the Schrock. I also liked the Kraftmaid... but not quite as well. I sure as heck hope I'm not wrong!! Also- the kitchen is not *that* low-end. LOL It's just not 'high-end'. We're under 40' for counter space, so the Cambria is affordable. I've lived my entire life with the most awful laminate counters and floors, and decided that in my old age, I was going to have a nice kitchen. Small, but nice. Aries61.. about pricing out cabinets.... It feels like buying a car. The closest I could get to an individual cabinet price from 4 places was that 'cabinets run approx. $330/linear foot'. I will not have the price break-out until I put down a deposit and order them. Does that make me crazy? Yes. Is that the way it was at Lowe's, HD and 2 kitchen designers? Yes. All the prices seemed to fall into the same ballpark. Having said that... gulp... it came out to $8500 [inc. tax] for almost 28 ft. [linear] of cabinets. [That means top and bottom cabs.] [One wall is 11' inc. corner, around to another 8', another wall of 8'.] Oh- the Cambria + sink will be about $2700. Oh, no- I better stop. Now I'm so anxious that having said that, people will crawl out of the woodwork to shake their heads and tell me I'm completely crazy & have over-spent. I'm already shaking all the time!

Okay I tried the Redken and didn't notice a difference as I always use the super star. How much do you use regularly? Perhaps I didn't use enough. Between the two the super star won. I'm going to try a larger amount tomorrow. Doing a few comparisons. I also use a root lifter spray for those who like a fuller lift. There are several on the market.
