Google Blog Reader

I love using my Google Blog Reader for catching up on all my favorite blogs; however, does anyone know an easy way to "mark" entries I would like to go back to and read again or projects I may want to do?

Right now I have to click from the reader over to the actual blog and then mark it in my Internet Favorites.

Add a star to the post - it's on the bottom of each post in google reader. When you want to go back, click on starred items.

I don't use AR as it is to0 embedded so I am going from a foggy memory. File>Print>On the appearing window is an area named Print Range. There are several options, one of which is Pages with an empty line. Select that option by placing a dot in the circle before the entry. In the empty line place the pages you desire. Examples: Just page 4, in the line place 4-4 For page 5, 9 and 12, in the line place 5,9,12 For pages 20 through 22, in the line place 20-22 For pages 8, 10, and 15-19, in the line place 8,10,15-19 I don't remember if you have to apply, but I am sure you have to OK out. I updated on the original thread linked above but thought I'd put my post here as well. Thought I'd update this - after struggling to get Feedly off my computer I was hesitant to try another add on reader and set up a folder in my bookmarks just for blogs I follow. But that requires checking each one daily or whenever I want to see if there's a new post. So I caved and tried Bloglovin and I love it. In some ways I like it even more than Google Reader. It throws a tiny icon up in the right corner where I have extensions and it adds a number when there is an update to any blog I follow - I know right away if there are 20 updates or only 1 or none. It's not a space hog or a bully with other programs. Very simple and effective.

Hey there, Frugaljon....welcome aboard. I wish to recommend to your pleasure a video on YouTube about the Hanging Hosta of Hampshire. Ever heard of them? I've watched the videos innumerable times, trying to note details of how they manage so many hosta, and what happens when winter comes, you know, just looking and dreaming. I link to one such video below. My hosta garden is 25 x 100 and is in coastal Alabama (near the Gulf of Mexico), and my zone is considered 9a or at best 8b. We have an undependable winter here, but we manage a few freezes and cold temps enough to make dormancy possible. Get ready to join the fun day after Christmas, when the Hosta Alphabet series begins. Woohoo - Thank you maryp. I knew there had to be a way to do that but could not find it.

cooperbailey - Google Reader is a way to "subscribe" to blogs you like to read. Whenever there is a new post the blog name will be BOLD in your list of subscribed blogs. I have created folders with all of my subscribed blogs - home decor, sewing, fitness, etc. It is easy to use. Go to the Google site and click on READER.

I'll try to explain. Google Reader is a service where you can subscribe to blogs and when there is a new post on that blog, the new post will show up on Google Reader. You just go to one place to read all of your favorite blogs. That's the short and simple version of what it does.

This just showed up in my Google Reader. It is a great short YouTube video explaining what a reader is and how it works.
