1 Open a PDF file.
2 Click the Text tool (the T tool) to select it.

3 Click in the document and select the text you'd like to copy.

4 Choose Copy from the Edit menu.

5 Switch to the program you'd like to copy your text to like word and choose Paste from the Edit menu.

When you select File/Print, one of the option that come up is Pages with a box where you can enter the page numbers to print.

See?, I knew there was a way, why couldn't the instructions just have printed it out, and let me know so I wouldn't have to bother anyone here?

Well, I'm back, had a couple minutes, and tried to do something, not sure what the T tool really is?
Even in the article there was no clue, perhaps my bar across the top isn't like everyone elses, in Adobe? or maybe I am just too dense to understand, probably it, so need more info guys!!!!!!!!

if the PDF file is causing the issue you can use a free conversion program to change the pdf file to say a .doc document file and then just select your selection to print in that document. Some free online conversion sites are.

I haven't tried it in Adobe Reader but have done it and would do it as bpgreen suggested.

Be sure you place a comma after the pages you want except the last page. I do not have a printer hooked up to my laptop here but managed to get a graphic to show you what it looks like.

I don't use AR as it is to0 embedded so I am going from a foggy memory.

File>Print>On the appearing window is an area named Print Range. There are several options, one of which is Pages with an empty line. Select that option by placing a dot in the circle before the entry. In the empty line place the pages you desire. Examples:

Just page 4, in the line place 4-4
For page 5, 9 and 12, in the line place 5,9,12
For pages 20 through 22, in the line place 20-22
For pages 8, 10, and 15-19, in the line place 8,10,15-19

I don't remember if you have to apply, but I am sure you have to OK out.
