Farro

So I was at Costco this weekend to pick up a bag of quinoa, when right next to it I notice for the first time that they are also selling farro, and my impulse got the better of me.

I've never cooked with farro before, but have looked online a bit, and see that I can make pilafs, salads, and even risotto-type dishes.

Does anyone here have experience with it? Any tips, or tried and true recipes?

First impressions are serious in our house, so I need to make my first experiment with farro a successful one, or I will have trouble getting the boys to eat it a second time.
