Thank you for your compliments. Oceanna, these are for decorative purposes only. They have a string of lights in each bottle. I used a glass bit and cut a hole in the side of the bottle and then put lights in them. They are used for night lights or just decoration. Really pretty lit up. I sell them for $15.00 each. All you have in them expense wise is the gallery glass paint and a string of lights and I got the lights for $.99 so not much of an investment more time than anything. You can make several at one time by using gallon size zip lock bags to prelead your design on and then paint, let dry and peal and stick onto the bottle then use Gallery Glass crystal clear and fill in the blank spaces and let dry. I bought the redi-strips of leading but never used them. They are straight & harsh looking! the liquid leading works much better. I taped stencil to back of glass & worked on front. That would work on a window but not a glass or other things.With the Gallery glass I just leaded in 1st & added the colors inside. Some I did on the sheets of acrylic or whatever it is,came with kit & then peeled off & put on mom's window between garage & patio. It's held up well! When using Enamel paints on glass I always clean window with alcohol & then take care not to touch it as oil in fingers comes off on glass.Paint won't stick to oil! Good Luck! Jan

I hope you won't think I'm being presumptuous, but I'm looking at your living room overall, not just the color of the walls. It's a charming room with great bones but it's not a terribly large room. If this were my living room I would first paint the fireplace surround the same color as the adjoining cabinets and also paint the ceiling white so it runs into the crown molding to keep the moldings from chopping up the room further. I'd then find a large area rug that is big enough to go under at least the front legs of the furniture in each side to tie that grouping together. A richly colored Oriental would look fabulous. I'd choose some of the colors from the rug for colorful pillows and pull one of the least obvious colors from the rug and choose that for your wall color. Add some great art, a few plants and accessories, and you'd have a really wonderful space.

Why not do GG yourself on that window? You can begin by practicing on some clings, and if you like it you can stick the clings to the window and build your whole window from there. It's very gratifying, and that way you don't have to worry about finding the right size and color. You can make it in colors that pick up on other decor in the room. Why not go check out their kits? You'll save a lot of money. But I guess if you have $ you can hire someone to custom make you just the perfect real stained glass window for that space. I love stained glass windows. I think they're just perfect for bathrooms, too, where you don't necessarily want the extra bulk of curtains, or the extra laundry, and where we usually want all the light we can get into the small space. Another reason I didn't look into real stained glass is that my window is a sliding thermal window. I'm sure it would have been very expensive to get stained glass that would slide like that. I thought about hanging a stained glass piece in front of the window, but then how would I open the window? So this was the perfect answer for my situation. If you look carefully at the pic of my bathroom window you'll see that it's a slider, and that one pane is larger than the other. So I worried about that, about how it would look to have the border bigger on one than on the other. I knew I could bypass all that if I did an abstract design where both windows were different from one another. But I loved this design so I went for it. I think it looks okay that the borders are uneven. I think that the window is pretty enough that people just don't notice or care about that? If yours is a slider, I think this could be the solution for you, especially if it's double-paned (I think they have some kind of gas between the two layers?). The clings are "stick on designs." They are easy and fun to make. Just find a design you like on the web. Print it out. I put a piece of glass from a frame I wasn't using on my table to protect it. Then I taped the design I printed out to the glass. Then I put the cling down on that. It's a soft sheet of clear vinyl. Then I traced the outline with the butterflies liquid leading. It comes out pretty smooth and easy so this wasn't hard -- just like in the lady's video. I let that dry then filled in the color, also with her paints. You can do a few for fun. If you like what you did, stick it on that bathroom window and build the rest of the window around it if you want to make privacy glass. Remember that with real stained glass windows they don't cut really huge elaborate pieces. They break up into smaller, more manageable pieces of glass. You can buy stained glass pattern books, or maybe your library has some. So why not try to do it yourself? You'll have fun, and imagine your pride when you get your window done and can say you made it yourself? You're welcome -- and thanks for letting me know I inspired you.
