Lawn-Boy is known for the 2 cycle engine and built it's reputation on it for decades. Keep a new blade on it or resharpen it yourself often. You need to clean and re-oil the air filter more than once a year. Do it at least twice or three times per season. A new plug once a year is good advice and use gasoline stabilizer in your gas. Using a synthetic 2 cycle oil will eliminate 99% of the smoke and the carbon build up as well. Do not loan the mower to anyone without strict instructions on refueling with the proper gas/oil mix. Even then someone else could inadvertently add some straight gas and it's over.

Pesky; just looked Kyron up; he's a few years older then this little guy- looks like Kyron lost his baby teeth. What a horrible story. Dlm- I will never understand why people do what his mom did. It breaks my heart that he's probably with someone & he has no clue what's going on. The sneakers threw me over the edge too. How many little boys do you know that wore similar sneakers? The news conference video is pretty good except you can't hear the questions reporters asked. It sounds like they are going to try to match his DNA with people already on other sites to try to trace family DNA but they don't think it will be ok'd in a court. I hope that one day every newborn will have a chip implanted in them so that things like this will not be so hard.

Thank you all so much for the great comments. She was pretty excited when she checked the computer today and saw how many people commented. I was thrilled when she said... "We should make this an every friday night thing" It was so much fun, but it's gonna cost me a fortune as fast as she works. We went to the dollar store today and spent $40 on jewelry, and she is asking for some differnt colored tiles online tonight. I have created a monster!!ahahhaa We grouted tonight, and still need to clean them up. There's a bunch of glue to scrape still. She did a different color grout on each one. Kids' tastes, likes and dislikes change so much as they grow. What I did when mine were young was go with their favorite colors in solids that washed and wore easily and well. For example, with my son, I went with royal blue for his washable comforter and then added touches of red, green and yellow with his valance (over blackout shades), bedskirt and throw pillows. I then bought poster frames and 5x7" easel back frames that allowed me to quickly, easily and inexpensively change out his art as he grew. The 5x7" frames were perfect for turning "cool" greeting cards into works of art that he could place around his room wherever. We went from zoo animals to dinosaurs to whatever he had a big interest in next. I brought in a long 3-section bookcase and primary colored bins to corral most of his toys and let him display his books and whatever toys he chose on the rest of the shelves. As time went on, I let him pick out printed fabric in "cool guy designs" and made throw pillow covers for his bed. I guess what I'm saying is that I liked to keep things basic so that he could inexpensively and easily choose new art and accent pieces. It was his room, not his decorator mommy's room, he used to like telling his friends and he was always very proud of it. Lynn
