ooh, yes... the sound of silence - that reminds me....I'm going to put on some classic Simon & Garfunkel when working on some slabs this week. For the slabs I'm using big pieces of slate from my mom's old dug up 1950's patio (beautiful red, blue variants, and black/gray slate)....... Ive been creating these miniature landscapes with muck, driftwood, some accent rocks, some real small jinned Japanese Junipers, and yes - moss. Collecting wild moss for my bonsai - I always make sure that I collect moss from areas that have similar soil to my muck for easier adjusting. I also only collect moss where it gets good sun exposure - this way I know the moss is sun tollerant, doesn't demand shade, and won't burn in the sun. A problem I've had for years with moss, is that bonsai fertilizer burns my moss brown. I've used 10-10-10 slow release pellets, and have also used 10-10-10 liquid fertilizer. I have to stick the pellets in the soil deep and away from the moss, or if using liquid fetilizer I water the bonsai trees around and away from the moss. Anyone else have problems with fetilizing their bonsai & it killing/browning their moss? I'll go post my question at the moss forum - http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/crypto/

I don't have any music on right now, but I listen to Bluegrass, and play 5-string banjo with several "jamm" bands every week! We have a great number of Bluegrass bands in the western end of Pennsylvania, and they are playing at several venues in the area, including W. Virginia, and Ohio! During the summer, our member supported bluegrass camp near Kittanning, Pa. has 3 weekend gatherings of musicians that come to play on stage, or jamm around the camp-fire, or just set around under the trees. We're always looking for new members to either come and listen, or join in the jamming fun! i can't receive music online, as i'm on a phone line hook-up. but i get enough playing time with our weekly jamms! by: Rustyj

Before my DH retired I would turn on the XM radio and listen to the 40's and 50's channels. Now that he is retired I do listen to them some time but not as often. When I am at the computer I listen to Hawaiian music through my headset. When in the car I always have my XM radio on. We hardly ever watch TV.

Well that's the best DIY solution, but it can get pricey with that many Sonos Connects Amps. You are talking about $2999.94 total for Sonos. For a little less money you could buy any audio matrix and 8-zone distribution amplifier powered by a control system like Control4 or RTI that would so the same thing (and give you 8 zones if you felt short in any locations). You would have the added bonus of being able to integrate lighting, security, surveillance, pool, etc. at some point in the future. Generally we love Sonos as well and recommend it often, but if you get into too many zones it is actually the more expensive solution. With that many Sonos connect amps in one spot you would be signing up for an aggressive fan system to keep them cool as well if you want to preserver their life. Just an FYI.
