Cliff's favorite gift is gift cards. Ones to WalMart not only are used for groceries or general items, but also for gas :) The ones for Starbucks or restaurants are nice and definitely appreciated, but the ones we like the best are those that we can really get a lot of use out of. Cliff has one customer that throughout the year as well as at Christmas, gives him Subway gift cards because they get so many large packages. Those are great too and we'll go out to lunch on our day off, or Cliff gives them to me for lunches because we have a Subway in the WalMart where I work and he usually doesn't have time to stop at one on his route. As those gifts come in, I write out a Christmas card thanking the giver and letting them know how we plan to use their gift. At Cliff's PO all of the food items given are brought back to their break room and shared with all the carriers :) Was just thinking that perhaps I'd mention that from a carrier's perspective as the holidays are coming up and so many people are kind enough to remember their carriers at this time of year :) Sorry to hijack your post, Sue :( I think it's really great that your PO employees are amazing! There's nothing quite as cool-looking(temperaturewise) as BLUE flowers. I grew Phacelia a few years ago, best blue i ever saw, next to cornflowers. The bell-shaped blue flowers with icy-white anthers were beautiful, and stirred up images of cooler weather. They do have a short bloom time, hot weather just about stops the show, cutting back helps somewhat. Give 'em a try, i believe there are 2 or 3 varieties. Good luck, and enjoy.

I would go to the site listed below, download the latest drivers. Remove the existing drivers, disconnect the printer from the computer and install the new drivers. Be sure to disconnect as HP have a specific time in the install process to connect, they will tell you on screen. Here is a link that might be useful: HP 2575 drivers for XP

I realized after I posted that I really should have provided more information--like the model of the printer. But I didn't think to make a note of it. She acquired it recently, but I don't think it was brand new. I also should have mentioned that the whole document printed (in black ink) except for the first page. It was as though that page didn't exist. My friend has had some other occasional problems with Open Office, and I was thinking it might be worth a try for her to download the latest version. Would that action affect the document files? Thanks!
