If you are positive that is the offending file use Windows Explorer. Right click Start click Explore. Scroll down the left side and click the plus sign beside Windows. Now scroll down and click on the System32 folder. Your unwanted file should now show in the right pane on your screen. Personally I would rename at first rather than remove it. Just change the DLL to DDD so it cannot run or be recognised by the computer. Then later once you are convinced everything is normal you can return and remove the file.

If you are using Internet Explorer at the very top of the page click Favorites and then hold down the Shift key and click Organize Favorites. A window will open up that looks like Windows Explorer. You can delete or move favorites just like you would files. To select a block of favorites click on the first one then hold the shift key down and click on the last one. This will high light the entire block so you can delete it. To select individual favorites just hold down the Ctrl key and click on each one you want to delete to high light it. Then you can delete those all at once. Instead of deleting favorites I just create a new folder and call it Old Stuff and move all my unused favorites to it. You create a new file by clicking File>>New>>Folder Then just name the folder what ever you want. Pooh Bear

That part opens the tag command. You can take it out, including the Photobucket part of it. That's the portion that follows Delete up to the part that starts with And then delete the closing part of the tag at the very end, This is one of the images in my Photobucket account. I just posted the whole HTML Code line and it didn't reject any of it. I'm not sure why you had that problem, but to start over right click inside the message box and hit your delete key. Is it possible you're missing part of the HTML Code line? When left click on the line, it will automatically copy for you to your clipboard, so you don't have to try doing it manually.

As one who often cleans "house"...there's no perfect "yes" or "no" answer to your question. "Yes" you can do it if you examine the contents of each folder and know your system well enough to recognize whether you may need the info contained therein sometime in the future. Some of those old computer files contain old info...or old programs...that are still referred to and needed by your current system to function the way you want it to. Old photo files...old apps...etc. Have I discarded old files? Yes...selectively and without regret. "No" if you're not absolutely sure what's in those files and whether your system...or you...may need the info contained therein at some future point. Generally...I agree with Fudd and azinoh. If you don't need the space then leave well enough alone. If you need the space...proceed with caution.
