Thanks, Zep and Raven. I had a hard time finding the free ZA download, but managed to avoid the other stuff in the end. Oh, yeah, and I can see that ZA is going to take some getting used to. Lots of things in Program Control that I don't know what to do about, though when I can find time to go through all the tutorials Raven gave a link to, I hope I will begin to understand. But meanwhile: (1) Will Firefox need to be "allowed" under "Server"? If I don't allow it, what might I miss out on? (2) Should I allow Sys32\svchost under both Access and Server? I have no idea what it was allowed previously, though presumably access was allowed. (3) Under Firewall>Advanced, I find "Disable Win Firewall," which I assume is good, now that I have ZA, but what is "Filter traffic over 1394"? No idea at all what 1394 is or what checking this box might do. Only these two boxes were already checked. I will leave them checked until I hear to the contrary by one of you. All help along this line is appreciated!

Have you checked their website? usually they will tell you their preferred method of doing that. some companies tell you just to go ahead and lay the new one over the old one it will find your settings and save them and just install the new and remove the old, Some want you to do a full uninstall of old and then put in the new. I suggest you read the material with it and go check their website. I used trend micro but it was years ago so I really do not remember.

currently with so many people experiencing problems with the new AVG8 I am not recommending it, instead the main one I recommend is Avast and AVira. however if choosing AVG8 I would highly advise using the altered method of install AVG offers in their FAQ page which allows you to install with out the extras which are causing the problems. I like thick crust... Sicilian Pizza? Reminds me of a fishing/party boat I went out on one day.. sort of rough seas that day. The guy that arranged the party/charter had kegs of beer and lots and lots of sort of plain Sicilian Pizza's. I was an avid boater, and another distant friend was there ..he was a boater. We always said hi on the boat radio's and compared notes.. what we were catching and where. Rough seas on that party boat, Gulf of Mexico offshore fishing...a whole lot of people paid a little bit of money each for this 'party'. It was very rough water, boat rolling not only side to side but climbing and crashing waves too while just trying to be stationary... My friend and I were the only two fishing, and the only two that were not leaning over the rails being sick :) Wow we had lots of pizza available.. everybody on that boat was sick but us two and the crew. It was kind of funny to us. People sort of crowding the restroom area, trying to wobble and stumble into the 'head' then you got to watch them fly out when the boat rolled the other way :) That was the best Sicilian Pizza I ever have had, just plain thick with sauce.
