Help w/ space needed for 72' round tables & 85 chairs
Comments (3)The rental centers figure that a 5' round with 8 chairs needs at least 10' of space to be able to pull out chairs. Therefore, I would guess that a 6' round with 10 chairs needs at least 12'. The best way to lay out the tables and chairs is to use graph paper that has a grid on it. Then figure out how many squares equal a foot and go from there....See MoreHelp needed - 36' fridge & 18' DW or 30' fridge & 24' DW???
Comments (9)Are you looking at counter-depth or standard depth fridges? We have a 30" standard-depth refrigerator now (old Kenmore) and it's more than adequate for a household of two in a 2/1 house. We're going to a 36" with the remodel, but mainly because it will be counter-depth, so the overall space is about the same. Personally I'd much rather have the counter space (and the full-size d/w is a bonus too). I do like the 18" Miele a lot, though, and know people who say it holds nearly as much as non-Miele 24" standard models....See MoreOLD Kitchen. No space for fridge. Need ideas
Comments (33)I understand your wanting to make this rental as nice as it can be while you are there. I would deep clean that kitchen -- cabinets, appliances, floor -- and live with what it is. I've seen worse. As for the fridge, I would find a black not-so-large fridge for your use while there. A black fridge would blend in with the black countertops and other appliances and not be so in-your-face as the white one is. When you get the placed cleaned up, with a black fridge and a colorful rug down in front of the sink, and other decorative items on the counter, I think you will be surprised how presentable the place will be. As for the floor, is it tile? If so, after you have cleaned the tile you might want to color seal the grout lines with a lighter color to improve the overall look of the floor. Enjoy your good fortune!...See MoreNeed Design Help: Open Concept Kitchen Family Room w/o Eat-In Space
Comments (26)Yeah, I know it’s a tall order to come up with something that accomplishes what I want but I figured I'd see if others on Houzz had some ideas. Both sectionals that I'm considering are pretty spacious. The first one is 144” x 79” and the other is 120” x 110.” msteezzy - here’s a picture of the space you asked about....See Moregoutgrec
