HAVE: apology to my swap partner

Well someone here that is looking for a package from the man in brown should get one next week...... The only problem is that I wrapped it all up and packaged it carefully....left it at my folks office to be sent out....and forgot to put the letter in or tell who it was from..... so someone that likes to can will get a box of canning stuff from an anonymous person....who forgot to name herself girlsingardens.... who has a 3 yr old and 1 yr old helpers that make me forget where my mind has been... package will go out UPS on Monday

LOL, Stacie. I've never, ever sent out a swap box without forgetting the letter. Ever.

Yep, had it all taped up and ready to go, then spied the letter and notes sitting in a neat little pile! Managed to slit the seam open and slide them in. And I usually leave a gift out as well, but that's because the box is too full!

AM, I also smiled at the thought of you driving around, peeling tape off the box at the red lights. (grin) That pottery is lovely and the book looks very interesting, Mediterranean cooking is supposed to be very, very healthy. Maggie I'LL tell you about me and frogs. During a swap, our little Miss Cheater Pants, aka JESSY, got my name. I was a little new to the group so Jessy researched my name here on the forum and she found some old posts over on the Reptile/Amphibian Forum, I had posted asking for help in getting rid of all the frogs that were all over our porch. They were pooping everywhere and peeing everywhere and it was just horrible!!!! So Jessy took off with this frog idea and she sent me the funniest swap package; it had frog shaped pasta, an apron with frogs on it, rubber frogs that were threaded on shish kabobs, Gosh I can't even remember all of it. But I laughed so hard I had to go change. So that's where the frogs came from.

When I tried to track my package the recorded voice told me the package HAD ARRIVED at MY HOUSE the day they picked it up! (UPS.com said the same thing) When I finally got a live person they told me the number was recycled; i.e. used again for it's journey to the East Coast but the technology hadn't recognized the fact. Said it was set to arrive Thursday and it did. But for awhile I was afraid it was coming back!

Got home about 11 this AM and ,although my neighbour did not have a parcel for me, she did have an notice from the post office that they tried to deliver it but needed a signature. It is safe and sound at the post office and I will be picking it up on my way to hooker school!!! YAHOOO!!

It must be an epidemic! I did the same thing. I had Janet's box all nicely taped up and addressed, when I looked over and saw the letter still on the table. I slit it open, slid the letter in and added one more layer of tape.

What a brain dead bunch.

I forgot to put a layer of bubble wrap on top of the items before taping up because I was so focused on not forgetting letter. But, it looks like Compumom got everything unscathed in spite of my inept packing.
