Sounds like a dirty carburetor! If you can clean it out, do it. If not mechanically inclined, take it to a repairman. there are tricks to carb cleaning, although a few squirts of carburetor cleaner in under the air filter might help. I not, then seek professional help!

OK, lets do the basic's, Check the oil? does it have oil in it? Y or N. battery is is connected and are the terminals clean and tight at both end? Y or N? Are we sticking the key all the WAY in before we turn it to the start position? Y or N. Is the Fuse Blown? Yes or No? Remove the spark plugs and see if you can turn the engine over either by hand or using the starter? Turn or don't turn? Just putting dirty gas into the tank is not going to prevent the engine from turning over, it will just plug up the filter between the gas tank and the engine. "O" does it have a fuel filter installed? yes or no? is it has a fuel filter most likely it stopped any big chunks that would plug the carb. up. But even it the carb. was plugged up the engine would turn over? SO the big question is if the engine don't turn over it was not caused by the dirty gas. But likely the battery went dead? (have it load tested for free at autozone). The connections are dirty or loose or fell off not making a connection from the battery through the ign switch through the solonid through the starter to crank the engine. Or the bigger question you ran it really low on oil and it locked up which had nothing to do the with dirty gas you installed in the engine. there is probably about 20 more questions I frogot or other possibliities causing it not to turn over meaning the engine don't turn and you get NO CLICK? right?

917.289031 is the model number. Like I said in the original post, the engine is not the original but a replacement...just so you know. I just took the spark plug out and cranked it and that allowed the starter to spin the flywheel constantly. Exciting! What do you suggest?

Try disconnecting any electronics plugged into the set - HDMI USB Ethernet etc before hitting the power button. I have a late model Phillips that takes a few seconds to scans its ports when you hit the power button. It will attempt to activate anything plugged into it before going into full operational mode.
