It's there??? Wow! I hope those Tasty Kakes are still reasonably fresh and not squashed flat. I recommend licking the icing off the butterscotch krimpets first. Must taste yummy with the pistachios. Interesting combination.

You were sooo easy to shop for, I could have sent a hundred more things. I think I will request you again the next time!

Whoops, a day apart, I can't keep up!!!!!

I hope that by the time I get back from picking up DH at the train in CT and have out dinner out, there will be photos here for my evenings entertainment.

Here it is in all it's glory....the Swap package that is "All about you" meaning moi!!! Pam numbered the packages and sent an instruction page detailing the items category

Number 1 was all about entertaining and had a tablecloth with matching napkins, AND placements, two serving trays for outside, a beer opener for DH, party picks, and apackage of restaurant grade grilling oil wipes for the Q (these were ooohhed and aaahhed over by Dave) and a beer opener with a recorded message. He has used the opener already, but Pam...I think your personalized message got erased in transit, unless you just burped into it!!

This is number 5 - a glorious assortment of Trader Joes stuff. Chile Lime pistachios, bruschetta (that I have drooled over in other packages) smoked trout, (that is near front hard to see) Olive tapenade, Orange muscat champagne vinegar, and last but not least Roasted walnut oil. We are having freinds over this weekend and I know this is going to be handy, I might even share the pistachios if there are any left!

This is an assortment of Philadelphia snacks....mmmmmm....tasty cakes, 2 kinds, Ashers chocolates (Chance had 3 already) Splitz pretzels (Pam's fav), and Goldenberg Peanut Chews. The tasty cakes are not petrified Pam and even if they were I could still lick them!

Number 2 was a toy turtle LOL cause there are no turtles crossing the streets in Ontario!

Pam also remember I had 2 dogs and she sent BULLY STIX and gourmet treats! And she found out I like hollendaise with asparagus on toast when I am by myself!

Finally she sent a package to our little foodie, Chance! She was very excited about coming home and seeing this Pam, it was very thoughtful and she has already picked out some shortbread-jam sandwich cookies to make (but like her mother she is making an adjustment and wants nutella in between the cookies instead of jam) And she has already done the suncatcher kit!

Pam, you were a swap virgin but now I think you might be a swap floosie!!You outdid yourself, and I am really excited with all my gifts. Thanks from all of us here in the family, woof woof!

I forgot to add the sweetest part of the gift was the lovely letter from Pam. She obviously spent some time getting to know "all about me" and we have a few but improtant thinks in common including libraries and a connection to adoption. Pam you may have been cyber-stalking me, but you did good!

Funny story about the pretzels. I bought two bags, one for you and one for me. We finished our bag and my son said "where's the other bag?" I just looked at him and said "In Canada." He looked at me like I'd lost my mind.

I hope everyone enjoys everything. Tell Chance to send me some of those cookies -- but what is Nutella?? I am getting a kick out of seeing her with the book.

I'll look for Nutella, but I've never seen it. We have a store that sells British stuff, maybe I can find it there.

"Vibrant" colors,M24K? Do you mean to say loud?? Ha ha. I was kind of picturing them for outdoors. I hope that cloth fits one of your outdoor tables, Janet.

I foudn the web site for Nutella. They sell it at the grocery store that I use all the time!! Guess I'm looking in the wrong place.

Pam, the colours go perfectly with my plastic outdoor dishes and will fit the table just right. Nutella is usually in the peanut butter aisle in the grocery store, it comes from Italy originally. it is really good.

Kind of like chocolate-hazelnut peanutbutter-like stuff.

Suffice it to say that Pam has you nailed, Janet. Sweets that melt in your mouth, salty pretzels, pistacios,and tapanade, chewy stuff for the puppies, and great eye appeal items, and, something truly brilliant; grill oil wipes. Whodda thunk of commin up with that one? Brilliant.

Great job dedtired, love the table cloth, napkins and placemats. I love pistachios but still have never had the chili lime ones. Those sure are cute pictures of Chance with her cookbook.

That is a magnificent swap package. I love the linens, and I would absolutely love to have roasted walnut oil, although that olive tapenade would be at the top of my list also. Nice job Pam. And Janet, Chance is an absolute doll.

Pam, that cookbook was truly ingenious! I remember the picture awhile back, of Chance cooking and how 'into it' she was! You were even so thoughtful as to include goodies for the furbabies - awww! Goldenberg Peanut Chews are fabulous (use to be able to get them at the movie theatre), didn't realize they were from Philly.

What fun! I have great memories of making cookies with my girls when they were tiny. Well, let me tell you, it pays off! I can't remember when the last time I made cookies was, but we always seem to have some fabulous home baked cookies here!

Chance will spoil you too I'm sure. What a cutie!

LOL about the turtle too. A day or two after that thread, I happened to see about 5 minutes of whatever that show is with Regis and Kelly Rippa. Kelly's husband was there instead of Regis, and lo and behold, Kelly told how the weekend before, DH had stopped in the middle of the road, stopping all traffic before saying "Kelly, get over there and get that turtle of the road!"

We're turtleless here too. I had never known it could be such a big problem!

The grill wipes came from Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens 'n Things. Should be easy to find them.

I never been good at math -- or resisting the temptation to buy one more thing! I kept thinking of Lars' post about the swap rules but I decided rules are made to be broken.

I love the colors in those linens, nice and bright, and the champagne vinegar and smoked trout sound very interesting.

My favorite, of course, is Chance. I always loved to cook with my girls and now I cook with Makayla. It's so much more fun than cooking alone.
