Thanks, everyone. Hmm, I just bought a new pair of capri length jeans, no shoes, though. I must have said something about jeans lately, although my aging behind doesn't look the best in them. Got some Not Your Daughters Jeans, so I hope they help in the end -- ha ha.

FOAS, I get to look at those slobs across the street first thing every day. For my birthday, they kept their clothes on.

I am celebrating my birthday by going to the eye doctor. Woo hoo! My brother was here last week so the family went out for a nice dinner and we celebrated my birthday and my son's. (Jessy -- we went to the new White Dog in Wayne -- yum).

The eye doc is near one of my favorite bakeries so I will stop and buy myself a birthday cake. I'll also stop for some local strawberries if I haven't missed them.

The roofers are coming back to reroof the porch and repair the ceiling. I'm tired of having roofers around!

It is stinking hot here today, so I'll be running from AC to AC. I'll check in again later. I appreciate all the wishes!

Here's the birthday cake I bought for myself. I even had them write Happy Birthday Pam on it. It is raspberry swirl pound cake. Can't wait to dig in. I just hope my mom doesn't show up with another cake! I will have to hide this one if she does.

This is a milestone birthday so it couldn't hurt to have two cakes! One for each of my hips.

Lars, my son's b-day is Friday. It's a milestone for him, too. Yay, another cake! I hope Kevin had a nice birthday.
