A won't work because there isn't enough space between the shower and the toilet. Assuming you want a glass shower, I don't think you want to look out on the toilet. Plus, I have a thing against having closets in bathrooms. Steam, moisture and all. In B, how will the door to the shower open? C is really not good if one of you has a different wake/sleep cycle. Plus there's no relationship between bathroom and closet. While I don't like the closet in the bathroom, I do like there to be a close relationship so you can go from the bathroom to getting dressed. Also look how little room there is to move from the side of the bed into the closet. What I also don't like about B and C above is how the toilet is now further from the bedroom. Given a choice of C1 or C2, I prefer the one with the closet in the bathroom but really prefer neither.

I would hate the door swing into the sink area in cpartists drawing. I also do not like to have a toilet so near my showering egress, this is just a silly idiosyncrasy of mine. Do you prefer a walkin closet to a decent master bath? If so cp's ideas with a pocket door would work for you. I prefer my breathing room in the bathroom rather than a closet. my reach in pax wardrobes are not all lined up on one wall but rather we have his and her sides with mine flanking my side of a vanity and his flanking his side...it is unconventional but after realizing that fifty square ft was not enough for a good bathroom nor closet it was our best compromise. after having very little closet space in my 1920 home I find my set up really nice. Here were my inspiration pics where I got my idea to incorporate a dressing room into a shower room. in the 20s,when my house was built, the master would not usually have a bath attached but many had dressing rooms with wardrobes and sinks. I did not want my bathroom to look like a bathroom but rather a dressing room from my bedroom. From a Sears kit house plan. these are existing orginal dressing rooms although I did not copy this cool set up I emulated the idea of two closets flanking a sink dressing area. Here is my sink flanked by 60" of wardrobes on each side. My room is 13x8 with Windows on all three exterior walls. 3x6 shower behind the bench could be a shower tub combo easily.

I tried out some options, some suggested by you all, and am curious what you think. I would like to keep the Stuart Swan chairs but probably have to let go of the ottoman if I move them to the living room. And then we may do a sofa with upholstered ottoman in the dining room for TV watching. Or a sectional with a left arm chaise (chaise closest to DR entrance, I mean; but that would make the entrance to the room a little less open). Thoughts? Option A, couch at window and chairs under piano window. Imagine a slim table between the chairs, a square coffee table and poufs opposite the chairs. Side table and lamp where pharmacy lamp is. Rug under chair & sofa legs. Bookcase goes. Option B (below): Couch under the piano window. Imagine rug under sofa legs and chair legs, slim table between chairs or C table on left one and a square coffee table with poufs opposite chairs or couch. Matching side tables and lamps on couch ends. Slim pharmacy lamp on left chair (if no side table). Bookcase goes. Out of option A & B - do you like either? Coming from a momma with four kiddos who also lives on acreage. Please know I'm not tearing apart this plan I'm just pointing out things that I know I would want. Also I do not know what part of the country you are in. We live in Minnesota so messy cold wet snowy things we need a spot to dump them(voice to text). We also have lots of dirt and gravel and that sort of thing. -First off I would want an entrance directly from the outdoors, that's a family entrance with a large closet, either open or closed lockers lots of Boot & Shoe storage. -With five kiddos I would prefer laundry near their bedrooms. -I would not want a laundry walkthrough from the garage ALTHOUGH a 2nd laundry for dirty barn clothes near family entrance is wonderful! No extra carrying of messy clothes to laundry. My laundry room is never pinterest-worthy ;) and I like to be able to shut the door not think about that :) - master bedroom closet, I do not see one. - Closet in your entryway. Again I'm not sure what part of the country are in so maybe you don't need to have storage for company's coats but you do have a big extended family so?? Would you be having hooks on the walls or??? - do you need a bathroom that your Ranch hands use or is that in one of your outbuildings? - I love the idea of an office space with books, I would think of it more as a library do you think that you would utilize that space with all that desk area or would you rather have it a reading Nook? Absolutely love using two 30 inch ranges. In my opinion it is the perfect way to get a 60 inch range for an excellent price point.
