Removing Adobe Air

I ran Secunia on my XP& it marked Adobe Air (among so many more) as vulnerable. I removed it under uninstall reran Secunia and it still shows up. So I let it update went back and did another remove and its still showing up under the scan. I have no need for Air and don't want it. How the heck do I get rid of this?

Yes....rebooting, shutting down, I even tried to use adobe's website to get rid of it...nothing is working.

They did not send me a gasket in the kit so I made one myself. I thought perhaps the gasket might be clogging up one of the small holes in the carb face so I held my finger over each hole individually with the mower running and it ran fine. That leads me to think the gasket is fine.

The version is 7.0.7 I went and looked on the web about the Window Installer had no idea what I should do. In the Control Panel its says I don,t use it often also installed 11/21/05 it must have come with the computer, also on top of the Adobe Reader I have Adobe Flash Player ActiveX but it shows no space taken up on the hard drive but the Reader has alot of space taken. Thank you for checking for me am open to any advice. Gillian.

Thanks Mikie, again! It is the same one I tried to install. It has their toolbar. Its almost impossible to get rid of it once installed. They have made it mandatory to take their seach toolbar with the free ZA. Probably even throw it in with the paid version. Last year you could install by clicking 'skip all offers' but even clicking it installs the search toolbar. I'm running Win XP and need a firewall. Jane

Try using Revo Uninstaller. If you do still have it, it will find it and you can uninstall completely.

Does it still appear in the Add/Remove utility?

Have you done a manual search of the Program Files Folder on the C:/ drive to see if it is indeed still there?

If you have CCleaner use its utility to determine if it is reported still apparent.

Have you done a START>Search to see what type of files if any are still in existence?

I am asking all this as it does happen on occasion that after an application has been removed the entry will still appear in the Add/Remove reports. CCleaner will remove any erroneous entry if it is determined to be so.

THANKS damccoy....ran ccleaner and fixed the problem...doing a manual search on the c drive didn't show it but ccleaner did...great program.
