Anyone Ordered from Home Perfect?

Has anyone ordered from Home Perfect before? I'm looking at purchasing a Toto toilet and pedestal sink, and Home Perfect has excellent prices. Alternatively, I've found them at Faucet Direct, but they are more expensive there. I would appreciate any feedback on either company. Thanks.

I did. I got a lot of stuff there- my shaw sinks etc. Most items came quickly. One part was on backorder a while but I eventually got it. I would use them again.

Thanks so much, adh673. Glad to hear that someone has had a good experience with them. Their prices look great, but it's always nerve-wracking to place an order online with a company you've never dealt with.

I just noticed your posting;I have ordered from this company last year and while everything turned out all right in the end it was a bit of an ordeal.The excuses were many and various and some of them truly outstanding in their complexity.I ordered n early summer 2007 and received the shipment in early fall. It is a good thing that I had good blood pressure medication as toward the last if anyone mentioned my lily order a red haze drifted in front of my eyes.However, by way of apology for all the problems, she sent me a bonus package that had me scrambling madly to find room for them all. As it was some of my friends departed with labeled bags of bulbs and the last several dozen were planted in pots and sunk in the garden.Everything appears to be healthy, albeit a little light budwise. That is to be expected, given the origin of the bulbs.Just persevere is all I can say......I think that I posted you in the spring about lily bulblets....my computer had a meltdown so I have no records left.If you are the person, the martagons appear to be hansonii.Good luck with the order. newine

I have been growing these for at least 5 years. They are the best of the best! They are large, tasty, not giant cores like big tomatoes sometimes have and are not cat faced. They make lots of tomatoes and are my favorite in the garden. Problem is that if I want them, I have to start them myself or pay unaffordable, huge prices at Burpee. Plants are not available at your local nursery. I'm 70 years old and I really don't have the energy to keep starting them like that. I will have to revert back to Big Beef so I can buy plants locally and at a reasonable price.

rufinorox, so glad it worked out for you! I was looking at your backsplash thread but didn't respond because I am so not a b/s person. I don't have the eye for it and plan to do the plain white shiny subways in a limited area in mine, and otherwise something other than tile. Anyway, congratulations on your sink and faucet purchases. I saw the sink in your pix... looks great! I can't wait to see them installed, and to see you in FKB! (Is that Roxy showing the new range? Sweet... mischievous?) I also had to laugh at the roses on the cabinet with no top, b/c DH has been bringing me flowers since before we had our cabinets installed, to brighten up the space, and we've been putting them on the ugly temporary leftover counters. Things like that make this bearable!)

I've ordered bookcases from them--several of the folding and stacking ones with the mantel top and one other (can't remember the name of it). The folding ones are easy--just open the sides and the shelves fall into place. They are sturdy enough to hold lots of books. I've moved a few times since I got them and they are still going strong. The other bookcase required assembly. The instructions were clear, easy to read and follow. The bookcase has a small drawer on the bottom--I've had problems before with assemble-it-yourself furniture with drawers--the drawers aren't level or they stick. This drawer is very smooth opening and closing. It's not top of the line furniture, but it does hold up well, I think. I basically needed lots of storage for books and DVDs at not too high a price and with reasonably good looking furniture and that's what I got.

I ended up purchasing three items from Home Perfect.
- Toto LPT3158G Pedestal Lavatory 8 InchCC with SanaGloss (Cotton)
- Toto CST744SF.10 Drake Two-Piece Toilet 1.6GPF (Cotton)
- Toto ss154 Elongated Traditional Soft Close Seat (Cotton)
All three arrived exactly as I purchased and in excellent condition. I was not certain how to expect shipment and they ended up coming on a freight carrier (R&L Carriers) strapped to a pallet.

My only complaint was the time to delivery and the lack of communication on when that might be. I placed the order 02/06 and received them 02/22. While I did not mind terribly that it took more than two weeks to receive the items, I did not receive any update until the items shipped. No estimated delivery date (or even estimated shipping date) was provided after placing the order. I did not receive any communication (beyond the immediate order confirmation) until a shipment confirmation on 02/17. And then after the tracking information became active a few days later, the estimated delivery date was way off.

However, the items eventually arrived and I am very pleased with the prices and that I received exactly what I ordered. When I tried to purchase the same toilet locally a year ago (for a higher price), I ended up receiving a 1.28 gallon even though I specifically asked for a 1.6 gallon. Upon complaint, I was told that I simply could not get a 1.6 gallon anymore because they were unavailable from suppliers. I wish I would have ordered from Home Perfect that time as well.

I hope this information is helpful to anyone else considering purchasing from Home Perfect.

I ordered my silgranite sink. It was delivered promptly with no problems. i would order again from them in a second.

I am having a major problem with HomePerfect. I ordered a pedestal sink on January 27. The website said it was in stock. After I ordered it I got an email saying it was backordered. However, my credit card was charged right away. On February 19 I sent an email inquiring about the shipping status. I was told on February 21 that is would be shipped out this week. Since it hadn't shipped, I sent an email saying if it didn't ship on February 22 I wanted to cancel the order. Today I called to verify the cancellation and was told that it was too late even though it has not shipped. The call center rep refused to put me through to his supervisor. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!
