I finished and now I'm changing my mind on one item! ~sigh~

I know most of what I want to get, just haven't had a chance to go to the first place I need to, as the rest depends on that stop.

Most of mine is done but I'm still waiting on eBay! (well, actually the post office, more than likely) This is taking wayyyyyyyy too long.

Most of mine is done too but I am also second guessing one item!!! I am waiting to add something so mine won't go out until the week of the deadline. Sorry swap buddy but it will be worth it. I have had reservations for months at a famous little spot in NYC (it's coming up) and I want to get a little something from there (tease tease)!!!!

I am having so much fun and it is giving me something to look forward to. I am having a bad case of the "my jeans are tight, my skin is dry, argh I need to make an appt with the hairdresser" winter uglies.

I'm almost done.

I have a couple of things, but for some reason themes evade me, so my package will probably be "themeless" as always!

I've made a list of possible items for my partner, and I have a possible idea for a theme. That's as far as I've gotten. I hope to start actual shopping SOOOOOON!!!!

Theme? Theme?? What's that??? Mine is usually "Hodge-podge". If I stick to my usual MO, I will wait until it's almost deadline, then buy whatever strikes my fancy. Some people work better under pressure....sighhhh.....

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who is "themeless." I did pick up one thing last night as I returned home from the dentist - and---saw quite a few more possibilities......

Just got a chance to get on the computer after a few days away from it, and was soooo relieved to see this thread! I haven't got my stuff together yet, but have a few ideas... I don't think mine will have a theme, but I'm hoping it'll be well received.

I haven't gotten a thing yet, but I have an idea .....of course, as usual, I'll not be able to find what I want to make the idea real so I'll have to get another idea!

I guess my theme is "things I like" since I'm buying one for my partner and one for me! I think I'm half done..., maybe 3/4 if I count the thing from ebay that goes off in the morning (yep, found two of those too, one for my partner, one for me! LOL) And I have an idea for the 4th item, but not sure if that will work out. Better think of Plan B.

Jayne, "things I like" is always a fun theme. I think I have a theme. One part is ordered, I have a second in mind to order, then I need to shop.

I have ordered 2 items, one is being shipped and the other one is out of stock and the date it will be shipped keeps being later every time I check the website. Now it is supposed to be shipped on the 16th. AAAARRRGH!! That is really starting to cut it close, and I really like the idea of this one, I have one on order for me as well.

Then I have to think hard about the other 2 items. I have a couple ideas. Some of them would even allow me to have a theme.

I hadn't thought of a theme either, until I saw this thread. Just things from around here, or of interest. Then, I was out yesterday, trying to get my stuff together -- HA HA, now I have a theme!

I special ordered an item I own for my swap partner yesterday. Should be here in 2 weeks. I could have bought it online but i want to keep my money local. I actually have 2 themes that would fit the current package.

Everytime I look that other item is even more delayed. Now it is scheduled to mail out on the 19th of February. I may end up sending the package out with a photo of the final item. I really like this item and don't want to eliminate it.

I went shopping yesterday and picked up one item. I still need to shop some more - this time without DD in tow. I feel better now that I have one item.

Well I was all set with a theme but when shopping around couldn't find the single most important thing I wanted , then got side tracked when my eye fell on something else that would probably be better--so now I've got 2 things ready to go & hope to find what I need to finish up --tomorrow if the snow isn't too bad --and hopefully will not see something else that side tracks me .

Gosh I just love this swapping stuff--you know-will my partner like it ? Will I finally find that one last thing? Is this too silly? Should I tuck this in too? Maybe find something different in place of that one thing?

Well I'm done, but now I have to "edit" LOL! I have too many things and I don't want to bust the rules too much. This is hard!

I went shopping last night and come home with NOTHING! Sigh. . .

My idea kind of changed, but I think I'm about to get it together. Finally won an item on Ebay and hope it arrives today so I can mail package tomorrow. I leave early Friday morning to go to FL, so I REALLY want to mail tomorrow.

Just came back from another shopping adventure. Again, nothing is suiting me. Found a few things for myself, my son and my daughter. I think Saturday is going to be the day. I'm planning on heading into Raleigh. . .

I have two items ordered and know I can either order a third today and buy the fourth over the weekend or shop for two more locally. I have a THEME!!!!

Went out several times this week and nothing was clicking. Today I went to pick a paint colour and found the perfect central thing (not in the paint shop!). Now to finish off with 3 complimentary things. Tuesday I will hit my all time favourite shop.....one for my partner , one for me, one for my partner, one for me!!! Can't tell you how many swap things I've got there....hopefully I'll be lucky this time too.

C'mon ebay seller, wrap that vintage item up real well!

It's FINALLY coming together! I still need this week to wind it up. I should be able to mail it Saturday or first of next week.

I am way behind due to finances....damn union is so slow about sending disability checks!!!
I finally got one yesterday so as soon as the snow thaws I am off to shop!!
I do have a theme which I can't wait to shop for!!!

So, is anyone keeping a list of who has and who hasn't yet? I started a list and it quickly become overwhelming!! And I can build a heck of an excel schedule when I need to! It's a pain for me to figure out who I've addressed and not addressed. I don't want to miss anyone. I'll update tomorrow!
