Mine went out last Saturday via USPS. I keep checking hoping to see that it has arrived. Soon....very soon...

I buy almost all of my plant material online and have for about 4 years. I just changed bulb vendors - I used to buy where I got the best $$$ because to me, bulbs tend to be more of an annual than perennial. If I leave them to over winter they either drown in our wet winters or get eaten by furry mammals that don't belong to me. If they don't over winter, I may use them again or I may forget where I left them...didn't say I was bright! Anyway, I have a new attitude since I bought bulbs from easytogrowbulbs.com. They are so supportive! I bought the largest Dahilia tubers I've ever seen last year and you can bet I remembered where I put them! They were healthy and gorgeous and I can't wait to see what I buy this year from them!! Roses, which are my favorite, come primarily from chambleeroses.com or antiqueroseemporium.com and perennials from paradisegarden.com or wayside gardens. I'm also going to try Steambank gardens this year because they are 100% organic. I'm not sure I'm going to continue with Wayside. In the past they've been great but I was pretty disappointed in the sizes offered and the quality of plants rec'd this year.

Meanwhile I'm still on the hunt for my 3rd item (I know what it is but it refuses to appear in stores...I may have to resort to mail order again). Have a safe trip. Hope it's very uneventful. Years ago (about 18, we had a terrible ice storm on Christmas Eve. I had to call my sons and tell them not to come because we were without electricity and the roads were bad. We were without electricity for 4 days. Wound up going to Virginia Beach for Christmas. Had Christmas dinner in a pool hall (all that was open). Dinner was nachos and chips. When we got about 20 miles outside of Williamsburg, it was like entering a different time zone. Not one sign of ice, just a little dusting of snow. We lost many limbs off our pine trees....I remember cringing and feeling so sad each time I heard one crack and land with a thud. We had a small pin oak that was completely bent over in half, laden with ice. It stands so tall and proud now. Christmas Eve, before we left, I defrosted some soup from the freezer in the fireplace for dinner and decided I was glad I wasn't born in Colonial times! That was not my favorite Christmas. We now have a generator!

Uh.....I may miss the bull's eye by a bit. Mine will go in the morning. The 4th of July holiday set me back. With any luck it should be at it's new home by the end of next week.

I'm finishing wrapping and ready to ship. Hoping to get it out today, but I got a call from a sick empolyeee and have to go in earlier to my biz today. At the latest, I'll be at Fed Ex early tomorrow.

It has rained (poured) everyday for 5 days straight! I keep thinking I'll mail tomorrow...I've been thinking that for 5 days straight. The good news is I have my packages wrapped in plastic and I'm on my way to the mail box today. Nothing like the last minute huh!

I did what doucanoe did. Last Saturday. neener neener. Mine isn't trackable, though, even if it was, USPS doesn't have a good tracking system. It is insured, though!

Aiming for today, but....if worst comes to worst...tomorrow for sure. Decided to add a finishing touch to something last minute, and it's not co-operating!

Mine will have to go out Monday. I got thrown off when the power went out, right in the middle of a project that required tools.

Mine went out yesterday and should arrive early next week!
I had trouble this time with finding the right box. Most were too big and the smaller ones I found had damage.
HECK I work in a supermarket....you would think I would have my pick of boxes LOL!! Geez!

Mine is now in the hands of the USPS. Wish it luck -- knowing our postal system, it will need it. Looking for it arrive by 7/20 at the latest. Hope my swappie is not the last to receive.

I am starting to get worried. I sent mine out 9 days ago and it doesn't appear to have arrived at it's destination yet. USPS has always been pretty good for me in the past.

I'll give it another day or two, but then I am going to start freakin' out!

I've been busy with company for several days but did get my package out last week. I did track it earlier today and it was out for delivery!!

I'll have to check out the recent arrivals here in a bit.
