i do know what is making these end caps to crack and break. The steam that escapes from the dishwasher causes these cheap plastic end caps to become brittle and crack. it is nothing the customers are doing to cause this. The material is not strong enough to withstand the hest. Bosch even mentions it on their website. You can buy a “skin cover” and a kit that will replace the skin with the handle. I am going to do this and the parts and skin are around $200-250. This is worth it to me, as the dishwasher does a grest job! i am going on my fourth set of end caps and my dishwasher is only a year old! I was accused by the repaiman of banging into the handles to cause the end caps to break. He also said it isnt happening to anyone else. Im so done with those end caps! Good luck everyone!

Well, I took a break today since I have not had a vacation after my nonstop deadlines. I took my friend out for a belated birthday lunch and then we went to a few flooring stores near her (she lives almost 1 hour south of me) and I got to see the Bruce Park Avenue Pradoo and the Grand Illusions Cabrueve installed on the floor and they both were beautiful and to me looked so realistic. My friend does not like reddish colors so she did not like either floor. The Exotic Walnut looked so real. I was wishing they would have he Makore there also but they did not have that installed on the floor or a big sample of it. Having it on the floor with many planks next to me would have helped so much. I was amazed at how realistic the Pradoo was with the knots also in it. The Cabrueve in person in long planks installed was so much nicer than the small samples and the pics I see online. I fell in love also with the Doussie and the Brazilian Cherry floors they had on display. They did not have an Amendoim for me to see. I am going to go to another place on Thursday that has all of these woods and laminates on display and then finally make a decision. Maybe I have to stop thinking of resale and if I would have problems selling if I move my furniture and the color is different or if I have laminate. I think maybe I need to finally figure out what I love an just take a chance since I am seeing so many people have such different tastes.

Not a sobber over anything, rarely cry at movies except an animal movie, but even then I manage to hold it in and just have tears. I am always too embarrassed to cry in public so I hold it back and get the worst headaches! lol I remember my mom and I went to a Lassie movie in the late 70's and neither one of us had a napkin or a tissue. We bawled, quietly, thru that entire movie and had to sit in there for a few minutes after to let our red eyes and noses calm down. Our sleeves were soaked! It was the one with Jimmy Stewart and just hearing the music of the soundtrack will make me tear up. It's a good one! lol I'm sorry, Nicole, but if I heard out-loud sobbing in a theater, I would think it was someone cutting up and I'd probably shoooosh them, not realizing they couldn't help it!

Stacie - Just add my name to Pattico's post please. I am glad you had a Merry Christmas and were able to spent it with your family. Life is a risk. Every time we leave the house we take a risk. My DS once got stuck in the snow on his motorcycle in the Santa Cruz mountains. Snow doesn't happen often up there but it did that night. Very sudden and unexpected. He had to wait for the plow. Don't let other people's fear driven lives get you down. Some of us actually do drive in the rain and the snow and gasp.....even go out after dark. LOL Parents always say don't come out in "bad" weather. mine would tell us to stay home if a single raindrop fell. ;-) Happy Holidays to you and yours.
