Jenn, I usually just put a blank cd (or DVD) into the drive and when it loads I hit the reduce button, not the one that drops it out of sight, just reduce to half size. Then I go into "my computer" thru the icon on the desktop, then I click on "My Documents" and most everything I want to move is there. Then I reduce that page to half size and I start dragging things into the cd open screen and dropping them in. Works for me. If an item isn't in "My Documents", you can look for it and drag and drop it in too. When the disk is full, another screen comes up and says, "Copy these files to CD (DVD"?), or something like that, click on it and it goes to work. It's built into Win XP which I assume you are using. As I said before, the music files are too big, at least for cd's, so I can't get many of them copied this way. It's free and probably a little more trouble than the program above?, but just thought I'd mention the method.

Well my daughter was off on Monday and we tried again to hook it all up and still nothing. We got it all hooked up so you can view either the DVD player or the VCR player but can't record from either one. I KNOW there HAS to be a way we can record from one of them. There has to be since BOTH are capable of recording. BUT we just can't figure it out. The VCR is hooked so that it can be viewed through the video 1 on the TV and the DVD is on video 2 for viewing. The TV has 2 in areas on the back of it and the DVD player has only one out area in the back of it. She says we need TWO out areas on the DVD player to record. ????? BUT it's a recordable DVD player so that doesn't make sense. I'm so confused at this point I'm ready to say the heck with it all! :( The back of the TV only has one out and has 2 in hookups. Then the TV has an in hookup on the front of it and the DVD recorder has an in hook up on the front of it as well. The VCR has a hookup on the front of it but it's only yellow and white in colors. The others, the DVD and the TV plug ins have red, yellow AND white plug ins on the front. I used to record from the TV onto the VCR but don't know how to do any of that now since we got the DVD and it's hooked up. Anyway just wanted to tell you guys that and to also thank you for trying to help me get it hooked up!!!

Since you like Cooking Light magazine and you already paid for a subscription, maybe you would enjoy this site. Has many cooking mags including CL, Bon Appetit, Gourmet, etc.. You can go back many years for issues as well as listing the current issue. As far as I can tell, they list all the recipes that you would find in the current issue? Or maybe a month behind? at one of our tower sites we have 2 street lights, one up front on the pole the transformers are on, and one in the rear of the lot. the rear light is fed by 12/2 UF that runs about 300 ft and is unprotected at either end. so for a POCO install this seems standard.
