Well, i had made up a breather box with another tube inserted into it, and ran a hose to the pump--didn't work. So, i put the original back on. Then i drilled the dipstick tube, and inserted a nipple. Ran hose to pump--nothing. Tried various configurations of hook ups--nothing! Ran gasoline all over the floor--nothing, not even a fire on floor. So, i rigged up an auxiliary tank on top of the fly cover, plumbed it in to the carb, and gravity did the rest. The engine started and ran until i shut it off. But then, the tractor didn't move. Upon inspection, i found the main drive belt hadn't made it onto the top pulley, so i had to put that on, and then my wife called me for dinner, and i quit for the day! A fellow tractor fixer is going to check the pump for me tomorrow, so i might get it right yet! Thanks for all the helpful info! Rustyj

I completely agree with everything Fran just said and more. I have been watching this amazing woman for three years now juggle family, job and this tremendous plant sale. She goes to work at 4:30 AM at Costco and then sells plants when she gets done work until she needs to go home and take care of her two youngest children. She is instilling a sense of community service in her children - they all participate from potting plants, growing seeds, painting pots and selling plants. The are a wonderful family! What was gratifying to see this year was the volume of repeat customers and referrals. So many people said "you don't have to tell me - I've been coming here for years", "I come every year to support you (Michelle) and the Childrens' Hospital". New for me at least were the non Costco members who found out about the crazy plant lady from Costco members who bought from her before and recommended them to buy from Michelle. The network is also expanding so hopefully more people will volunteer to help Michelle and her family. I can't say enough about how much effort Michelle and her family put in to making this event a huge success and she deserves every ounce of credit for its accomplishments. It is an honor and pleasure for me to be associated with Michelle and her family in this endeavor.

I love their products, especially love the salad spinner. I had a similar experience with an egg slicer. Great customer service! I got curious about the company several years ago-was quite sure it had to be Scandinavian, with such well designed kitchen tools. I was quite surprised and delighted to find it was a US company started by Sam Farber, the retired founder of Copco. The impetus to start OXO was the result of the difficulty his wife, who had arthritis, was having using a conventional vegetable peeler. Very interesting read-very interesting man!

My Grazia has irregular edges to mimic the hand made tiles. I like it. Just so you know, I went through the same stages with my kitchen. I would do thngs very differently next time. We bought a condo in Florida that I will have to eventually reno. I am a visual person. I have to see things totally done. If I like it, I will like it forever.Perfect example, my master bath. Copied right off the showroom. I have plaid chairs that I picked from swatches. Talk about a mistake. The plaid is huge! I have them for over 15 years and they have grown on me. (Talk about the kiss of death, these chairs were of such good quality that they still look brand new, so I cannot justifye replacing them) Your kitchen will grow on you. I no longer look at my kitchen and see the choices that I could have made but instead enjoy the kitchen that I have.
