Still looking. My daughter's inlaws have one of a forest scene where a deer or rabbit or something appears then disappears. This is honestly, more to my liking - just not a big H.Potter fan, I know that's heresy to some, but I'll pass it along to my daughter who is - it does sound cute. She'll ask but the inlaws probably don't know who put the aforementioned wildlife screen saver on their computer as they're not very computer savy, she said.

Open Internet Exploer and delete the temp. inet files. Tools/Internet Options/ Browsing History. Open and empty the recycle bin. Right click on start/ choose explore/ right click on the C drive/ properties/ tools/ check now/ check both boxes and run it. It will tell you that it will run on a reboot. This will run scandisk in dos startup mode and ID lost clusters or bad sectors and repair them. You need to learn how to expore your hard drive and delete old install and temp files. Right click on start/choose explore. Under tools folder options choose to show all files. This will allow you to see the hidden folders. There is a lot of junk stored in the temp. directory under your user name. It is safe to delete all files in any folder named temp. You can run a search for *.tmp. again delete all of these files that the pc will aloow you to. Some are active and wil not delete. Windows downlaods and saves installs files. In a directory named software distribution/downloads. These can be removed. Windows creates startup files to help the pc run faster (right) in a directory in windows named " prefetch" These are safe to delete. Windoze will recreae them as needed. If you have an install CD than you can delete I386. These are a copy of the install CD. You will have to insert the CD for rvery update if you do this so its nice to leave them on the HD. Run a search for *.zip files. Most of these are install files. ID each one before deleting or move them to a temp directory for a day or so to make sure that they are safe to delete. First and foremost open System Restore and create a back up BEFORE deleting files if you aren't sure what you are doing. Learn about System Restore. It will allow you to mess with the files and yet have a restore point tyhat will take the pc back to that point. click on my computer/ properties/ system restore is at the top. Open to create a restore by start/ accesories/ system tools/ system restore. Read the help files on the internet. I am self taught. Ahhhh, you're going to see THe WOrld! We went there for our first and only time a year and a half ago. I also planned out the things that I really really wanted to see and do. THa'ts really important since there is NO WAY that you will be able to see and do everything in one trip...unless you're staying for a month!! I'd suggest not hopping from park to park in one day because you'll spend alot of your time either waiting for or on shuttle buses. That time is better spent within a park. Take time out to find a quiet spot and have a little rest if you're not going back to your hotel mid-day. If you buy a refillable cup, you can only use it at that particular hotel/resort....so think about where you are going to be when you need it filled. We used the one from our hotel since we are there first thing in the morning and again in the evening. If you get tired of the parks (noise and the Disney theme pounding in your head!) and you have the time...absolutely go to one of the water parks. Several people changed our minds into going to one and we were sooooo glad we did...it's a really nice getaway. If you bring that small backpack along...put your things into ziplock bags inside it...will be totally dry if you want to run through fountains etc (hey, it's Disneyworld...you can be goofy!) If you are sensitive to heat, buy one of those battery operated spray/fan/mister bottles from a vendor. They were a lifesaver for my daughter. Refill them with ice (Free) from all vendors. Wear a hat, waterproof sunscreen and sunglasses. Oh yeah, and don't forget the most important thing....TAKE ME!!!! I learned everything I neded to know from the Disney (World and Land) web sites....the people on those forums are absolutely fanatical about all things Disney and are worth their weight in gold as far as great advise goes. They'll even know all about what particular rooms to ask for at the hotel and all sorts of stuff you didn't even know existed. Be prepared to spend alot of time tough....there is soooo much info.

It's probably a safe assumption that there will be lead in the lower layers given the age of the house, I think---not even sure I'd bother to test it. (They do test for free here, though---I wouldn't be surprised if Portland does too.) Lead was in virtually all enamel/cabinet/trim paint before the late 60s. But you can still sand with the sponges---that's what they're designed for, in part. When they're wet, they'll contain the dust so that it's not all over the place; a mask will also help to make sure you're not breathing it, and then afterwards you wet mop to get up any bits of dust on the floor. We did the whole lead testing and education bit with our county last year, and it was super helpful. One of the more important things I learned was that while lead is icky stuff, it's largely a concern if it's eaten or inhaled in quantities, so you can do a lot to prevent that and to let older kids know to avoid chipping paint and wash hands after touching it. It's also less of a concern if it's a one-time project than if it's ongoing chipping, like with a window where someone's painted the sash so every time it opens or closes, fine dust comes down. Projects can be more easily secured so toddlers and pets are away from the work. The really important thing they drilled into us was that the surface of the paint needs to be intact---you don't need to remove lead paint, but you do need to have it covered with a good layer of new paint on top. It's worse to take some of it off and open up lower layers to chipping/flaking than just to leave them alone and paint over with good quality paint, unless you have the resources (time, energy and/or money!) to strip down to the bare wood. In your case, I'd only touch it enough to get it into paintable shape. The biggest problem we had was our dog---lead paint chips apparently smell/taste sweet, which is what attracts babies too. So we would constantly catch him snuffling in an area where work was going on, trying to find the chips. Finally just gave up on that and shut him out of the room all together till we were done!
