I think I will do the automated call to my home phone. I don't care about that number as it is a land line. My sister has been chatting with kids I went to school with. They have sent her pics of me and she forwards them to me. It does kinda urk me a little that she is chatting with kids that know me but not her. Kinda like her reading my diary??? I would not chat with anyone she knows, I would direct them to her. At least when they ask about me she does not tell them anything, she knows that is for me. Hope I don't sound immature feeling like this. Anyhoo, I do not want my ex to find me in any way shape or form so I will post a picture not of us. Same with my personal page. I know FB sends you pics of people that you might want to be friends with and I will just ignore the ones I am not interested in. I will also make sure anyone I contact knows to keep me private. I am not afraid of my ex or anything. I just want my life to be mine and not have any interference. Dec would have been our 26th anniversary and it still breaks my heart that I had to leave him. We tried to be friends years ago and it was too painful to see how much he still loved me. I know I cannot prevent him from ever seeing my stuff but I can at least try and hope. I would love to contact old friends though so it is worth the "risk". Oak... I agree about the email thing. We have our own and we try to respect each others privacy. Although he likes to peek over my shoulder when I am on here- lol! I quickly close out the page- lol! Thanks for the advice.

To add someone back to your News Feed, follow these steps: Scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and click "Edit Options." If you are looking for a friend, scan the list to find that person. If you are looking for a public profile, select the Public Profiles tab. Click "Add to News Feed" to see their posts again. Click "Close" to save your changes. Hope this helps!!

No, looking at someone's page won't cause your name to pop up in their list of suggested friends. The suggested friends are "Friends of Friends". FB is getting more and more convoluted. I do not want my XH's live-in to be looking at my page. Since we have no friends in common, my name does not pop up for her nor does her's pop up for me. I do not have a picture of me on my profile for privacy reasons. If you want to know what your page looks like to a non-friend, click on the icon that looks like a lock at the top right of your page. A list will show up that says "Who can See My Stuff". Click on the little down arrow on the right, then click on "What do other people see on my timeline? View as". That will show you how your page looks to the public. Please set your privacy to Friends Only, and remember that your profile and cover pictures will always be public.

It isn't working even sometimes for me. I hardly ever initiate a conversation or topic on FB so I don't really have much use to "tag" anyone like that. Normally, I'm just joining in a conversation or commenting about what someone shared etc. Like today, my sister posted this wonderful recipe that was something I'd been looking for FOREVER. I wanted to post someone's name so they would see it. Other people are mentioning my name and I'm getting notifications all the time.
