I don't think any pictures posted here will help you make a decision; in fact, they might push you in a wrong direction. Photographing white is difficult. Photographing two similar but slightly different shades of white is truly difficult. Doing it with a point-and-shoot camera and built-in flash is extremely difficult. And what you see on your computer monitor may not be a good representation of what it looks like in person. (I just took some pictures of the tile going into our bathroom remodel to print and send to my email-less mother-in-law, and despite my attempts to fiddle with the flash settings, I don't think the pictures provide a true representation of the color gradations and veining on the tile. If you're concerned about which color you'll be happy with, I think it would be worth your time to get to a Toto dealer who can show you actual color samples. I'm not sure where you live, or how far you'd have to travel, but that would be the safest way to insure you're getting a color you'll be satisfied with. -- Eric

Thank you for your help everyone. I found a piece of info that said Colonial White= American Standard and Cotton=Kohler White. While my DH was getting some other things done at Lowes, I told him to look at the colors of American Standard and Kohler whites. He couldn't tell the difference. LOL. I'm sure I could because I agonize over such decisions, but if he couldn't at least he won't have an opinion about it! Staceyneil - nice to see you on the forums again! My kitchen is still a work in progress, almost done and ready for pics to be posted. Just need backsplash and more hardware. How is yours coming along? So I guess I've moved on to stressing about bathrooms now! Yours looks AMAZING btw! Totally dream bathroom!

I sure hope they match cause I just did the same thing. The Toto website says that they do and I am taking their word for it cause I've never actually been able to see the two side by side. Let me know how it looks, and I'll do the same when ours come in. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I hate it when things look yellowy too and I love Kohler's biscuit color.

Go to Toto site and click on any toilet. In a blue box you'll see "COLORS". Click that and another window will pop up. Once there, there's a reference to other colors and that you should "click here". I just tried and the info is "x"ed out but I've definetly seen it before. I don't know if I can't now because of settings on my new pc or if they've changed the site. They will also mail samples and I got my chips in less than a week. I found it pretty hard to appreciate the color difference on the 1"sq chips but it's distinguishable if you look hard. Seeing the fixture in person is much more useful.
