Is Toto's Sedona beige same as Kohler's biscuit (bisque)?

I am about to order 3 Toto toilets in Sedona beige for our new home. I am using all Kohler sinks in biscuit or bisque color (can't remember the name). I saw the Toto toilet at a showroom in Sedona Beige and it seemed too yellow. He didn't have any Kohler fixtures to compare it to.

Do any of you have a Kohler biscuit fixture in the same bathroom as a Toto Sedona beige fixture? If so, do they match pretty well? I am worried the toilets will look yellowy, not off white.

(My builder uses Ferguson's which is a Kohler showroom and that is where I am ordering everything but the Toto toilets. I do love the Kohler biscuit color.)

I can't tell you how well Sedona Beige matches the Kohler color, but I did just get my Toto Sedona Beige sinks installed this past week and the color doesn't look yellow at all. It coordinates very nicely with my Aquatic biscuit soaking tub. Unfortunately my Toto toilet arrived broken and had to be reordered.

I sure hope they match cause I just did the same thing. The Toto website says that they do and I am taking their word for it cause I've never actually been able to see the two side by side. Let me know how it looks, and I'll do the same when ours come in. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
I hate it when things look yellowy too and I love Kohler's biscuit color.

Thank you for your help everyone. I found a piece of info that said Colonial White= American Standard and Cotton=Kohler White. While my DH was getting some other things done at Lowes, I told him to look at the colors of American Standard and Kohler whites. He couldn't tell the difference. LOL. I'm sure I could because I agonize over such decisions, but if he couldn't at least he won't have an opinion about it! Staceyneil - nice to see you on the forums again! My kitchen is still a work in progress, almost done and ready for pics to be posted. Just need backsplash and more hardware. How is yours coming along? So I guess I've moved on to stressing about bathrooms now! Yours looks AMAZING btw! Totally dream bathroom!

White or biscuit?

Well, we have both: Kohler biscuit and white. The biscuit is in a master bath with a light beige tile and off-white cabnitry and looks like white in place. The white is in the kitchen bath and childrens' baths and looks nice and clean with white subway tile and black accent tile. So, its all about personal preference. As for matching, not all 'whites' are created equal - so you will have to match your white or biscuit if you change things out in future. Good luck with your choice.

You are right. The "Sedona Beige" does not really look beige at all. I used with with a Kohler "biscuit" sink and tub, and it matches well. The Toto website says that "Sedona Beige" is a match for Kohler "Biscuit" and American Standard "Linen". I think "Sedona Beige" would work well for you.

Bisque looks great with a buttercream or natural/light stain maple cabinest. Warmer than white appliances, easier to keep clean/spot free than stainless. What bisque doesn't go well with are white cabinets. And, seems just about everyone is putting in white cabinets. So it is no surprise that bisque isn't a popular color. Even white appliances don't always look good with white cabinets, the differences in the cabinet and appliance paint doesn't always blend harmoniously. Stainless works with all cabinet colors. Its a safe neutral, the only downside to me is the spotting. And, I admit I don't like the gray painted sides on the refrigerators either, that looks cheap to me. A stainless fridge should have stainless sides IMO. Unless your cabinetry boxes in the sides (mine doesn't) it just looks cheap to me. I'm sure the higher end refrigerators have SS sides, but they are not always in the budget for many of us.

I have a Sedona Beige Toto toilet right next to a Kohler Biscuit bathtub, and although the colors are not exactly the same, they look fine. You don't notice the difference unless you are looking for it. The Toto doesn't look at all yellow. Your sink will be farther away from your toilet, and they will blend nicely.

I feel better now. Thanks everyone. It must have been the lights in the Toto showroom that made the Sedona beige Soiree toilet look very yellowy. Maybe it was bone, not beige. But the salesman said it was Sedona beige.

Hopefully it will all work out just fine.

Just reinforcing what astridh wrote. Placed my Toto Dorian Sedona Beige tank cover on top of the Kohler Seaforth tub edge. My eyes (or my imagination) thinks that there might be a very, very subtle textural difference. Maybe not even that. I also agree that I don't see a yellow tone.
