It doesn't have to be a big box, just a little token of friendship and celebrating coming spring, which I think everyone is so ready for!! Sorry, I haven't been on much. My grandson is down with the flu! Not sure if it is a 48 hr. thing or if he should start getting better today! Just in time for me to get, as we are suppose to go to Springdale for my granddaughter's 13th birthday party Saturday! And I certainly don't want to miss it! She's my only girl and she is a girly girl!! Oh Lord! Mareas-so glad things are going better for you! I would love to see where you live! I bet it is very gorgeous there! Welcome to the little swap! I have broccoli, brussel sprouts, peppers, tomatoes, ornamental peppers, and other items, besides my flowers are waiting to pop up. I now have 6 lemon meyer seedlings about an inch tall! I peek at them several times daily!! For those of you who would join if was a little later-just send a little yard ornament or trinket and nice note with an IOU for a plant when they come up! It's not about what we get, just the fun in knowing someone is thinking of you and cares enough to send a little something! Soemthing to pick up everyone's spirits in the lousy economy everyone is having these days! Shirley-I hope things are going better with your Mom. Please keep us posted! He was a half point from winning Best In Show overall. I was proud as punch! Kids at the Knoxville Zoo last month. Us at neighbor's house. Maleah in the neighbor's garden. View of the Smoky Mountains from neighbor's garden. This garden is like a half mile from my house up on a ridge. The couple who owns it are dentists. The wife is from Vietnam and is the neatest person. We first met them a few weeks ago and never knew they were up there on the ridge behind our house. She grows the yummiest veggies! Bambi-Yeah...welcome to our group. So glad you wanted to be a part of this group. I have two grown children, a daughter and a son. My daughter has our only two grandchildren, Brittney (16 yrs) and Dawson (2 years). They live beside me and I love it. A white fence separates our homes and my DH says once Dawson passes through the fence its sanctuary to him (no spankings on our side). AS you know I LOVE SPIDERS. How many times did I change my mind as to which ones I wanted to trade for? You had too many that I wanted. I live close to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I work at Zickgraf Hardwood Company, they make hardwood floors. I am in the purchasing department, I along with two others help buy the wood that makes the hardwood floors. Been there 24 years next February. Dawn-Loved your recent update it's really coming along now. 200 hostas? I say you must love them. We need pictures when you get done planting all those. Barb-What a beautiful scene. When I first looked at it I thought someone had retaken a picture out of a magazine. Just beautiful and so peaceful looking. 80 acres? I want to come and live with you, you want even know that I am there. My 3 acres is almost full already. I visted Ohio 10 years ago. Went to see the Amish. Gosh I love the way those folks live. I could really get into that. Jo- I hope to work on our trade this week-end. Weed pulling and digging is just about to do me in. They grow wheather it rains or not. Volleyball has started back also. I can't believe I am playing this year. I got a brace for my ankle and I tighten it very tight and off I go. My DH said if I damage it worse than it already is he does not want to hear about it. I had two girls that can not play this year so I could not let the team down by quitting too. Bambi-Let Cindy know if you want to be in on this swap. Thursday is the deadline to sign up. Hello All love the pic's and that FROG!!!...hehe There is/or was flowers beds on both sides of the walk.Witch I lost some of on both sides.In some land fill there is hostas growing/cry. All the rocks my DH moved for me.So I wouldn't lose any.Took a long time to gather all of those..hehe The grassed in garden.The whole thing up set me so.I just let it go.Putting grass seed in flower beds,I mean really.Yes and on both sides too. After clean up and putting back the plants we saved by moving.Thou I was told I wouldn't have to move anything but the rocks. Poor little bird in the jar.Poor thing was so upset,but I just had to get a few pictures of it. Birds having alittle fun in the puddle in my mud area.heheh Haven't gotten the slate down yet.Summer sure did fly by.Smiles.We had standing water all over the yard from the heavy rains last week. Needed a place for a new flower bed. You see I brought this rose bush and just couldn't find a place to put it...and ..hehehe..oldest child say he knew I couldn't go a summer without digging a new bed..hehehe And you see I had hosta,daylilies and a few other plants coming in the mail..hehe Garden in a truck??? We redid some flower beds for my MIL this year.Well she lives in sand country so we started by bring in dirt.This is just one of the trucks loads we took out to her.My SIL,son and self dug up and replanted two of her beds.Then started working on going around her garage. We have to go out and plant some fall bulbs for her soon too.She wants so tulips for spring. Well I think someone now needs to start a new picture post. Sorry if I slowed this one down to much.
