I am reporting back in a new thread that I did get the Body Glove Travel Case, this is the link to it:

This case is perfect! It fits the PDN beautifully and it is so cool because it can be used in various positions. It is held in place by elastic bands top and bottom, once it is in the bottom 2 elastic bands it takes a little maneuvering to get it into the top 2 and centered but once it is in there it is secure. I can hold it upside down and it will not fall out or move.

The case zips closed easily with it inside, the case also has a zipper that flips so that when you have it opened and fold the top under it can be zipped that way which makes it really easy to hold and read. If you want to hold it open like a book it has a very nice strap along the outside spine you can slip your hand into to help hold it.

The cover that is inside which covers the mesh storage compartment can be positioned to use as a stand so that the whole thing can stand like a picture frame.

There is good storage room in the mesh area.

The case itself is like a hard shell covered in a very nice fabric and has good padding. It would take a major crush to damage the PDN in that case. Dropping the case with the PDN secured inside and zipped shut would not be a worry to me.

The top elastic strap does partly cover the on off button and also the one on the right covers a little of the volume button but you can work the button just fine with it on there, not an issue for me at all. Surprisingly the case is also quite light in weight.

I would definitely recommend this case.

That looks pretty nice. I like the pocket with the room for all the accessories (doesn't show as well in your pictures, but the pics in the link show it).

When you have it opened for reading and propped, does it zip up?

YES it does the zipper is like double sided it zips from each side which is very cool! Yes the pic on the site shows really well how much you can put in the storage compartment plus it shows the various positions it can achieve. That part that is hanging down from the mesh storage area is the part that folds and then velcros in place to form the stand for the picture frame position, but it also is the cover for the mesh area and is padded so provides a very nice surface for the face of the PDN to be pressed against when closed up.

I've got a couple of pairs of the gauntlet bionic gloves. In most cases they are fine, and there is a good amount of dexterity in them so that you can "feel" the rose while stripping leaves. However, the thorns on Mrs. B.R. Cant go right through them. I suspect the thorns on a lot of hybrid teas might do the same thing. Mrs. B.R. Cant is somewhat thorny, but I wouldn't put her in the vicious category. I am looking for some feedback on different gloves also, as I'm not totally satisfied with the bionics. They also tend to hold a great deal of body heat in so that my hands and forearms get soaking wet with sweat. Sandy

Hello ladies and happy every Holiday I missed. To those of you who do know me, I am back and mentally back on track (I think). To those of you who don't, well I was I am a member, love everyone here. Went away to do some great mission work and had some very tragic things happen. Many hours of therapy later, and actually returning to the Dominican I think I have healed, I am not bitter, sad, or frightened to leave my house any more. I am able to talk about it and I feel that I can share with postive feelings now. But enough of that. Am I to late for April? Please tell me that I can play in April? Max is 4 and we just looked at Co-op preschool. HE is a mama's boy and didn't want to go to big boy school yet. Maryanne~ I have a box for you that I need to send, but um lost your address.. So Merry Christmas when it comes. Ahh. I just don't know what to say or who to say it to because I am scared I will leave someone out. Do chairs need to fit under dining table?

Hi Amy!!! Good feedback on the table. But too late. Deadline for returning the table was yesterday. :-) Basically, I decided I really loved the table, and loved it enough to forgive it for not letting the chairs go all the way under. The thing about tall people's feet didn't occur to me (tall people have feet?? who knew!). I'm just going to hope it works out. If someone really needs to stretch out their feet with a glass of brandy, they'd be much more comfortable doing it on the sofa or armchair anyway - which are only a few steps away! I did go back to Room & Board this week to take another look at the black steel table - it's nice, and it would have gone in the room okay, but it did seem kind of cold and hard-edged. I just don't get the same feeling looking at it that I do with the wood table. Maybe if I'd realized this thing about the wood table's legs before I actually bought it and put it in my house, I would have gone for the steel table - but maybe it's just as well. (I can always CL the wood table later if I decide it really doesn't work, and chalk it up to an expensive lesson learned - or a "table rental fee". ;-)) As for chairs - they *are* really difficult! I sat in the wood chair at R&B. Not so comfortable. The leather chair was much more comfortable. Go figure. Finding a relatively small chair that is still comfortable and attractive is crazy. So here's a form vs. function thing: I found these chairs on the West Elm web site: The size is good, the style works, the color is fun and might work in the room. BUT (lots of but's here) - the store only had them in dark gray, and I'm nervous buying them without seeing the actual "persimmon" color first. (Colors on web sites can be deceiving!) The fabric was a somewhat loose nubby weave that might prove irresistible to a cat's claws (assuming I ever get a cat again). And finally, there's the issue of West Elm furniture quality - I got my coffee table from them, and though I like the style of the table, not so happy with the quality. On the plus side, the chairs were pretty comfortable. (For now. The padding felt kind of, uh, hollow, like it might not hold up over time.) Still intrigued by the style & color though - if anyone has seen chairs like this elsewhere, please let me know! One more thing about the table... Dd50, I did go back to C&B also and look at the 48" version of the wood table. They had it up on a pedestal though, so I couldn't see how it looked with chairs under it. Anyway, it did look kind of big, and I'm not sure it would have made that much difference with the chairs, so I decided to stick with the 42" top. Thanks for the update and website.My previous neighbor didn't do any weeding so her Canada thistles were running under the fence to my garden.She moved and it's been better because the newbies are taking better care.Those buckthorns seem to pop all over I'm thinking from birds. I like to get them out when they're still small so you can pull out the whole root.Mulberries are a bit more difficult. I have a big one that grew behind my fence,but I've let it grow because it's on the southern side and totally screens out the neighbors. I think it's a male which means no seeds and I haven't seen any seedlings, even though the mother to it is 2 doors down. I grew arborvitaes there for about 15 years, and they were just getting close to completely screening the neighbors when they all turned brown and died. I'm guessing it was caused by a drought,but I couldn't understand why after 15 years their root systems were not deep enough to weather it.Anyway the mulberry did in about 3 years what I was hoping the arborvitaes would do in 15. I just want to trim the branches back to the fence line to get more sun on the plants growing there.It also helps that I have an old hops vine I somehow managed to confine, growing up into the mulberry and filling in the open spaces.There is also a Chinese Elm so along with the stinging nettle I've almost got the entire urticacean astrid clade,except for Celtis and I have the other member of that clade growing in a safe unnoticeable place.What a fast growing,vigorous,tenacious clade of plants. I'm thinking about shackeling the Elm before it starts setting seeds. I read if you strip about a foot of barkandall the way around and cut out the living wood the tree won't be able to send food to the roots and will die completely without the ability to grow new suckers like cut down elms usually do.Has anyone tried this.Does anybody else have an android phone that likes to change the spelling of latin names or am I going crazy?

Ooooh, I like! I'm with bpgreen. :)

Thanks for posting the photos, rc. It looks great. I like that the elastic bands don't cover up any of the screen area.

RC, do you think the prop would support the case/Novel is you turned it in "landscape" position (to view a photograph slideshow)?

no it does not stand in landscape, only as shown. The padded fabric area that morphs into the stand is sewn on at the bottom so that makes it impossible to adjust that option.
I added my review and the pics with the rollover notes on the amazon page for this case since there were no pics there for it. I like the ability to add the notes on the pictures.
Body Glove E-Reader Travel Hard Shell Case, Black (9112601)

I used it all day yesterday to see how I liked it and honestly I really do like the case, I thought it would make it heavy but it doesn't and for me it makes it easier to hold. With my arthritis in my hands it was at times hard to hold onto the thin slick PDN, this gives me much more to hold onto which really helps when you have trouble grasping in the first place.
It does block the SD card slot but it holds the unit in so securely that sliding off one elastic band does not allow the PDN to fall out, the other 3 hold it in.
The unique thing I did not mention is that this case actually has 8 elastic bands that you can choose from so that it will fit various ereaders, most only have the 4. Very nice for those that own more than one type of ereader.
From the provided info it holds these:
Fits the Amazon Kindle 2, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Sony Reader Daily Edition, Touch Edition and PRS-700
and now they can add the PDN to their list.
After having been able to test it out, I would absolutely purchase it. Just wish it came in pink LOL

body glove is a major company but interestingly enough it is very famous in the swimming and diving business, they make wet-suits and swim-wear, have now branched out into much much more, many of the smaller pouch/sleeve type cases for ebook readers and laptops are made of neoprene the same material as wet-suits.

Loved your review of the case; however, you didn't mention whether the Pandigital was a 7" or a 9" reader. I have a 7" reader and I am looking for a good case.

I wanted a case just for toting around, not to use while I'm reading. This one fits my 7 inch perfectly and I occasionally use the outer pocket for the charger. I paid $7 in early december. Funny how the price jumped.

KV at that time there was only the 7" PDN so that is what mine is I do not think the 9" would fit in it.
I also have the actual case that was made for the PDN which I got at Bed Bath and Beyond but those are also for the 7" model I used one of my 20% off coupons on that to bring the price down. I like both cases, I just traveled with my PDN and I definitely used my body glove case for that and it was excellent.
