Question about Thunderbird

I am visiting relations out of state, is there a way I can retrieve my mail from my thunderbird account? I have never figured that out. Thanks

Your mail in Mozilla Thunderbird, Outlook, Windows Mail, Outlook Express, Eudora or whichever email program you prefer is, unquestionably, great Ã¯Â¿Â½ unless, of course, you are not at the computer holding your mail but still want or need to access it. What options do you have for retrieving your messages at multiple different locations and computers?

Thank you, everyone. Raven, you hit the nail on the head...I wasn't using my regular AOL password. DUH. :) It works perfectly! Thank you, daylilydazed, for the heads up about checking the web AOL spam folder from time to time. This is such a great group of people. You are willing to share your time and talents and it is greatly appreciated. One more question. If I wanted to add my husband's AOL screen name so he can use Thunderbird, too, do I just go through the same steps I went through to set up the account? Is creating a new email user the same as creating a new account? Thank you. Pam

DA... thanks. That works at least for one test. So dose Control +/- on the active text. Strange that "Compose" doesn't affect font size while Display does. Seem either or both could be the needed function - but when composing it is Display that determines the font size. I'll Google for the pain size. Sorry to put you to that extra work/test but when I can't figure out some computer question my first thought is gardenweb/computer... not Google/Web.

Thanks zep516 for the link. That is the information that I needed. Ravencajun.. I do know about the bbc but when I typed in Westcoasters and included myself I saw all the addy's when the email came to me and I really prefer not to send other addy's on to everyone on the list. Yeah it looks like a lot of work and remembering. I'm not much on E-Mail but there might be away to forward E-Mail from thunderbird to say a Web-Based mail such as G-Mail or Yahoo. It's probably just as confusing LOL!!!!!

I don't get it? It says you don't have to register? You just enter your e-mail addie and password, and then you get the mail? I would try it but I don't have a password for Thunderbird.
