I found something that works! I have a double vanity with two surface mounted medicine cabinets 24 inches wide with a 5 inch depth from the wall and for the life of me I couldn't find a suitable light to extend OVER and beyond the cabinet frame. I found a track light with three bulbs that I think will work but I can mount them on the wall above each cabinet rather than on the ceiling. I ordered on line from Lowe's: "3LT BRUSHED NICKEL FINISH FROSTED GLASS Item 20161 Model EC1431BN.

I rarely turn our TV(s) on and don't like to see them when not in use. Great room television is hidden behind custom sliding panels ( two go left, one right). DVD player, TV equipment, etc is in niche with shutter door. MBR TV is in an antique armoire that was in LR of our last home. It also holds sweaters and extra bedding. Main level guest room. Lower level guest room. We do have a large flat screen that is not enclosed in the lower level den. I don't have a photograph to share but it's on a pine chest. I am moving into my house today with wall mounts. I will measure. I know we did age in place height, and it is high!! I will be getting me a squatting potty, but I think that would turn my guests off.

When I remodeled my previous house I did wall hung vanities in all the bathrooms. I did add some decorative feet to the larger one in the master bathroom. I just like the look of a wall hung vanity. No issues with using or cleaning. Mine were about 6" off the floor so no real loss of storage space. I also like seeing the tile continue under the vanity.
