I have three accounts with my ISP. I think they don't allow communication among different accounts that all use their server. I don't understand why they won't let me see my messages on the two list I participate in. I can see in my Out box that these messages have gone out, but I can't see how they appear on the lists. If no one on the list directly refers to my entry I can't feel certain that the topic/response is being read by other list members. I have read somewhere that my ISP says this policy prevents duplication of information taking up my space. Huh???

The point owbist was trying to make about posting your e-mail address is there is software available that all it does is mine the Internet pages for e-mail addresses. Once this software locates an address it harvests the address and places it in a database usually controlled, shared, and sold between spammers. In other words you are making the spammers' job easier by providing them a valid e-mail address. Now please don't panic and feel like the world is coming to an end. Just be on alert for a possible increase in spam. Then you would have to take some remedial action such as changing your e-mail address. Until something happens continue to use and enjoy your current "addy". DA

My only idea would be to check your junk/spam folder. If Facebook claims it sent an email to the Verizon mail server, whether or not it actually gets there should have nothing to do with your machine. Right? How are you checking your mail? Are you using a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird to read mail? If so, you might eliminate that variable by logging directly into Verizon's mail server.
