When I try to get into a forum that has many posts I get the notice"connection was reset, try again"Generally I just give up.You Tube videos are choppy & nerve wracking.I've spent hours on phone with my providers.Tech came today & replaced some wiring & spent a long time trying to locate the problem. His computer accessed topics with 75 posts as does my tablet. He was baffled & said maybe my computer has a virus that is causing loading problems.Ideas?
My pc is an older Acer desktop & I use Firefox & Chrome.

Twinkle, When in doubt, check with your state's Extension Service. Each county should have it's own Cooperative Extension Office which provides free publications and information for the asking. They will have valuable vegetable/gardening tables available specifically for your area determined by universities and horticultural research scientists who have collected data from growing those crops in your state. Your tax dollars are already paying for this service so you may as well get some use out of it. Vegetable Planting and Planning Calendar for Missouri (download the pdf) complete with spring and fall planting dates (underneath the spring planting dates for appropriate crops), how much to plant per person, etc. They can also tell you the average last frost date for your area and ideal planting times for specific crops and varieties in your area. See how detailed this examples is:

John, the area around the perimeter of the land is probably six feet higher than the middle. That's where I put the new plant. Like I mentioned earlier...I was in the process of purchasing several plants to ship back. Just didn't follow thru. Wasn't anything really new that I "needed" or had to have. Durian, longan, and lychee cannot be exported. Ch3rri...santol was okay but certainly nothing to get exicted about. There is all that flesh but there seems to only be a small portion that has any decent flavor. The flesh clings to the seed like no other I've ever experienced. You would probably either wear your teeth down or just pass out thru exhaustion trying to clean off the seed. That nursery gave us a bagful to take with us. The bite you saw me holding in the pic was the ONLY piece of santol I took in the whole trip. Just wasn't worth it when we had so many other delicious fruit to choose from. Beautiful tree though.

Since you're working with an architect, I'd have no bones about telling him to go back to the drawing table and draw up a more functional plan. I'd list out what you like about what he's drawn and every single thing that you don't like and why. Be blunt and then sit back and see what he comes up with. If he doesn't get more functional then I'd have no problems with taking your business elsewhere unless you are totally in love with him/her for other reasons I can tell you realize that there are quite a few basic flaws with the plan. Go with your gut and if you don't need a room, there's no reason to have it in order to "fill in the space". Your architect shouldn't give you a room you don't want just because he's got a gap in the house! Starting with walking in the house from the garage. How would you get in? The door would either be limited to a 90 degree angle and then bump into the bench and block the way to the laundry room or it would open across the other hallway. To get from your bedroom to the laundry room requires 5 turns.... that's an awful lot of weaving around. You're right about the back to back vanities .... tell the architect that you expected better! You'd need to thread that gauntlet everytime you needed something from the closet. If you leave the MBR in that location, I'd insist on a sound insulated perhaps double wall. Your kids are still young, but eventually you'll be hearing every noise and rumble of the TV from that wall if they are up later than you. Try and picture yourself and the kids doing the ordinary things and walking about the house, eating, drinking, sleeping, opening doors, hanging up coats, letting the dog out of the house, running to the laundry room for a shirt you forgot, Good luck and I hope I didn't come off as too harsh! Really! Since you are still at the beginning plan stage now is the time to ask these questions and not be afraid to make drastic changes if it's necessary.

Do you think that the anxiety is making your blood pressure high? That's a possibility to consider. What kinds of things trigger panic attacks, or are they unpredictable? Have you been really stressed out for the past couple of months? Any major changes or occurances in your life? At your age, your hormone levels may still be in normal range, but that doesn't mean that hormone changes and fluctuations don't have anything to do with it. Good luck in finding an effective way to deal with it. Mrs H ps- if you are going crazy, it doesn't mean it will always be that way :)

Your problem on an older PC is no doubt as simple as very low RAM=speed=memory you probably can increase your RAM but since you are running Vista, you may want to think about a newer PC.
There was no need for you to expose your entire PC as suggested on the above reply to your problem.

You should not consider adding more memory as suggested above. You have a 32 bit computer that can only access something less than 3 gigs and you have that now.

I notice you purchased the high end Kaspersky suite - have you ran a FULL scan with this? There is no mention that you have done this and you should do that. You might then consider Zep's suggestion and update and run a FULL scan with Malwarebytes which you also have installed for peace of mind.

As to exposing your computer contents in the file above I see nothing that might embarrass you or allow others to gain any kind of advantage at your expense.

Owbist thanks for alleviating my fears about putting all that out there.I had 2nd thoughts as soon as I hit send.
I've run full scans with both Kaspersky & Malwarebytes.Nothing showed up on Kaspersky & a couple things on Malware but it has been removed & I don't think it was a serious threat or had anything to do with my sluggish connections.I may have it looked at because I got the blue screen when I went to boot up.It said to go to the repair site.I was going to go there but got that"other user" sign & don't know what that means. It seems there is something wrong with something that is installed on here. That's what it said on the blue screen.I'm pondering what to do.I don't really want a new computer.I love this one.

If you have someone to look at the computer then that's what I'd do.

Everything looks normal in the network log. We could reinstall the network adapter and run a blue screen scan, but I think it's best to take it in. Especially with the blue screen issue.

In your programs an features there is not anything bad listed not even a tool bar and Malwarebytes is not finding anything. So I think Malware is not an issue.

Zep,The person who has worked on my computer is on vacation.I could probably reinstall the network scan.I successfully wiped pc clean using the disk that came with it a couple years ago.Worked well after.I think the blue screen was caused when I installed the new Malwarebytes.because I got it when I rebooted after installation.

You said you are getting buffering on videos, that means low speed, so if you feel you have enough RAM, then go to your server's website and do a speed test to see if they are giving you enough speed, for downloads etc.

Zep,I get this in both Firefox & Chrome.I had someone look at it. He said there is something wrong with my computer but he can't figure out what it is.He removed a lot of things.Adware Block,No Squint.Just everything he deemed not necessary. This sped
it up some. He opened a forum that had over 100 posts.I don't know if I can do that here. I had to try twice to get in here.I asked him if it could be a bad graffics driver. He said it could. I paid $85 .Looks like he could have seen this for sure.Course he said I have a dinosaur & suggested some much, much better refurbished ones he has.He tried more ram & it made the pictures bad.
I've just used it a bit since I got it back & it is tolerable.
Oh,he told me not to use firefox & to use chrome. It is on here & I guess I can get used to it.

    OK Rose,

I'm at a loss myself and would not really know what else to suggest, and it's harder from my vantage point as opposed to being there. I'm glad you go someone to look at it. Yes add ons to browsers can be troublesome and slow things down too.
