There are lots of resources for plant choices in Cochise County. First I'd recommend you contact the University of Arizona Water Wise program. They have plant lists and tips on successfully growing trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and perennials in your area. Access the list at http://ag.arizona.edu/cochise/mg/sierra_vista_plant_list.pdf Second, take advantage of the free classes offered by the U of A Water Wise program. You just missed their Tour of Gardens (landscapes) in Sierra Vista. Other classes are listed under the 'events' section on the website. Remember as you plan your landscape that water is a limited resource. Using native plant material in your yard will not only save water but it will attract native birds (especially hummingbirds) and butterflies. If you must have grass, keep the size of this area limited to what you or your pets will use. Remember if the only time you walk on your grass is when you mow it, you probably don't need it. The pattern is "Vista".....the color is according to Mason...pink. But that color is often referred to as "red transfer ware". That mark is one of the older ones....dating to about 1950 and before. I collect the stuff!! Trying to post a picture but photobucket is not co operating.

Does the little clock at bottom right of screen keep time and date OK ? Im just guessing that the little coin battery that keeps track of the cmos/bios settings for the hardware has failed.. that's why you see I/O, hard drive, and why the keypress didn't work.... from what you have said. Needs that motherboards $2 big watch coin battery replaced maybe.. That battery also keeps your time and date correct. Before doing anything be sure to back up anything you do not want to lose including your contact list for emails. Make a note of installed programs and find the needed CD/DVD for each. I think you will have to do a fresh install of Vista, not positive but I doubt they included the ability to move backwards. The advantage would be that everything is squeaky clean. Use the Vista CD/s you have but when it requires the 25 digit authentication code use the one fixed to the computer now. If you go with a fresh install you should allow the computer to format the drive, select NTFS to make the best use of the hard drive. You should go to the Dell site, download and save all the drivers you will need before proceeding. Save these on a thumb drive or CD if the DVD player problem has been addressed. DVD player is very easy to install. simply shut down and either switch off at the rear if provided or remove the power cord. Remove both sides, remove 2 screws each side of DVD player, remove wide (2 inch) ribbon cable, flat power cable and skiiny sound wire. Slide defective DVD player out then reverse the procedure to install the new DVD player. done.
