I like this as it has paid for itself. No it does not give the progression through the seasons. Wouldn't that be nice? However I have sold designs with this because people are visual and they like to see what they are getting. I like to get the plat plan of the area and I also like to use the pictures of the area to convey my thoughts. I don't have a scanner to give the client the actual dimention like a planned drawing, however this has not been a problem. It is powerful and can give you for the most part the tools you will need. I will be working with my local printer on the aspect of printing this out. In the mean time; my clients like the look and I do still have to go to paper drawing. So if you do try it and know how to scan the plan let me know! Totaly open to any help here. Also if you consider this; let me know your thoughts on the: Area grader and the sloping functions. I'm sure it is just me but I do struggle with this. Some designs are a no brainer but some leave me wondering. Over all it has paid for itself. I started with Pro and now have Arch. 2. Does the job for me! One thing to be alert to is if there is junk in the way the pictures taken I have not been too sucsessful in editng out this. But totally love being able to go to grid with the dimentions of the properties. You have walkthrough and can add many more ideas that just over a photo won,t give you. Not that the photo isn't good; it does help you as a designer get the look you want. When presenting to a potential client I like to have the actual grid drawing. Some clients don't care and like a quick draw over the photo so the sky is kind of the limit. Just me, but I like to have a nice finished product. LOL! I want a FAST computer. I'm not into games, music, or videos. Although watching TV, or a DVD would be nice. #1 NEED is to wisk around the web quickly (have NO patience!).- I may be running a website/business. That is not controlled by the computer, it's controlled by the connection you have. You need DSL or "business quality" cable connections. Normal household cable is shared with everyone on the block and it can be very slow. If you plan to run a website/business, I strongly recommend you just pay a few $$ a month for website hosting - siteground.com is a good one with lots of free tools and templates - because setting one up from scratch is a technical nightmare and your thinking a fast CPU = fast internet indicates that you aren't geekish enough to do it. *********** Any computer currently on the market is enough for web, office stuff and viewing DVDs. Buy the cheapest one you can find and pay extra for more RAM (lots more RAM) and a good graphics card.

Update on Acer Aspire. Well too late to make a difference I received an email help message form Acer on March 7, the notebook had already been returned to Walmart a couple of week earlier. The email expressed regrets for the delay, suggested I reinstall the dial-up driver, I had checked for an update, there were none, but didn't try to reinstall, I should have. The email also provided a 800 USA based support number open 7-days a week. If I had had that information in the delivered product I would have likely resolved the problem and kept the Acer notebook. I did like the machine and the feature/function/touch of the unit. I now have a Gateway which worked right out of the box, so I do not have any experience so far on Gateway support (or lack of), happily I add.

I had this pop up on skype about a week ago and failed to do a print screen to send to skype. I also had an over lay appear on photobucket prompting me to enter user name/password (in line of security). I didn't. Again, I failed to do a print screen. I just closed photobucket. Next time, I will print screen and report.
